Robert Kirkman broke onto the comics scene with his self published B & W title Battle Pope. Since then he has written many titles at both Image and Marvel, Including Captain America and Ultimate X-Men
Robert Kirkman's comic books at Image include, Battle Pope, Invincible, The Walking Dead, The Astounding Wolf Man, and Reaper. One of his best comic books is the Spider-Man of Image comic books Invincible. He has also written many for Marvel comics for example Marvel Team-Up, Ultimate X-men, Marvel Zombies which has already had two very successful series and the Irredeemable Ant Man which was recently canceled but very well written. Overall he is one fo the best writers on the rise today.
Kirkman is now a partner at Image comics and wants to change the industry by writers/artists having more creator owned properties. He also wants independent books to be more adult material and the two big companies become more teenage and child friendly.
Kirkman is now a writer and scripter on the creator-owned series Haunt with Greg Capullo, Ryan Ottley and Todd Mcfarlane.
