Rob Liefeld is a successful, but controversial artist. A penciler and writer who rose to record-breaking success in the 1990's with titles such as The New Mutants, X-Force, and Youngblood.

Sorry 'ego, but I have to disagree. The design resembles a steroid-pumped EVA 01, but with the colours of EVA 02... The star logo isn't enough to make it 'original'. It could be a 'parody' at best... So this is probably Day Glow Exodus Evangelist :p
How do we even know it's Liefeld even? It may look like his style, but how many knock-off artists have we seen with this style? a billion.... I wait for a reply....
Hey I know this topic is really old, but that's def not Liefeld. It doesn't even look like his style. It's symetrical and there's a lack of crazy hatching.
The artist is actually Jorge Lucas, and the robot in ? was a Cuban sentinel (I think). It was from the first story arc of the Mystique comic from around 2004. The persom who tried to make the meme failed.
I need another shot or two of Liefeld's creation before I make any judgments.
Now that he's wrecked the diolague for Lobo as well as Deatstroke with over explaination and the removal of any attitude whatsoever, what do you think?
I'm not exactly a Liefeld fan but that honestly looks more like it was inspired by it rather than outright ripping it off. I'm no art expert though, so whatever.

Actually Greg Land is an artist. Anyone who "creates art" is an artist, regardless of the process he uses to get there. Greg Land traces but tracing isn't as easy as it looks. If it was he wouldn't be hired so often. Rob Liefeld sucks and Land is better by a large margin. His work has always looked far better.
