Rick Leonardi began his comics career with Thor 303 in 1981. He went on to draw the mini series Vision and the Scarlet Witch and Cloak and Dagger, both written by Bill Mantlo. He has provided art for numerous titles for Marvel and DC has been a popular cover artist. His work extends to numerous other publishers including Valiant, Image, Dark Horse, Moonstone Comics, and Grossgen.
Among his notable works is God’s own Country, written by Anne Nocenti and inked by P. Craig Russel, which appeared in Marvel Comics Presents issues 10-17 in 1988. He also drew Spiderman 2099, written by Peter David, for an extended run.
