Richard Dragon respect thread

You ain't gonna tell me that Bronze Tiger and Lady Shiva are getting one while the ultimate fighter doesn't have one.

To be the best you have to train the best and still don't let them surpass you. Richard Dragon training Batman, Catwoman, Nightwing, Barbara Gordon, Connor Hawke and the Question

He seems to get the better of Bronze tiger, but post the whole fight and it is not so one-sided. Also Bronze Tiger is getting cold.

Damn, I've never seen B.T. get stomped like that before.

after that Bronze tiger hits Richard Dragon one time, he sees the body of the guy he killed and decides to follow ben's advice. One hit against all that punishment I still say it's one-sided

VS Connor Hawke a guy who is better than Batman and that fought Lady Shiva to a standstill one time

True, but all I am saying is this is not Bronze Tiger in his prime. He is getting older, retired and I remember he was using a can when he was talking to Batgirl about Shiva in one comic or another. I'm just trying to make sure people understand who Bronze Tiger is. This is the man who was never defeated by Lady Shiva, and who has owned Batman, (but who hasn't done the last thing right).

Why doesn't someone post the scan of Richard owning Lady Shiva.

worth to mention: Richard Dragon had won the fight and was about to kill Shiva until the fight was interrupted

and as a bonus:

Richard Dragon vs Batman, Richard is holding back and yet he stalemates the Dark Knight

Actually there shouldn't be as many scans as there are here.  Posting full page scans is technically only allowed for PREVIEWS.  Posting several pages from comics, and the SAME comic is where it creeps into the illegal pirating.  If that continues, the lawyers could get involved, etc.

Please limit scans.  Don't post FULL pages.  Crop images if you must.  I don't want to have to delete this thread.

I think they made him look like a chump. He could have done better than that.

I think the entire Richard Dragon series was considered non-canon.

Someone in another thread said this is because the author openly admitted to not knowing anything about the character when he made this.

Which makes sense because in earlier comics Batman fought Richard to a standstill and didn't knwo who he was. That would make no sense if in this comic he trained Bruce.

Art is niiiiice tho. Situations are cool. Action is cool. I don't like the disrespect of Tiger like that tho. Before this comic he was the best in the world having the knowledge of O-sensei and sensei, Dragon only having O-Sensei. Richard stalemated Bats, While Tiger beat Bats twice, and Bats has admitted that Tiger is better than him. Tiger, Bruce, Shiva, Richard , Cassie, and Connor are the best on the planet (along with i-ching and other senseis and this guy named). I have always thought Tiger would beat dragon, but consensus has shifted because of this comic.

But to the person who commented above, Connor did not draw with Shiva, he was nearly killed by Shiva. He has gotten stronger after that tho. He bathed in Dragon's blood and gene spliced with plastic man, giving him strength and some kind of invunerability/immortality-like deal.

I do mean no disrespect in this respect thread tho. Just clarifying.

Oh sorry, i didn't see that Nighthunter had posted the fight of Richard Dragon and Batman already. But there was nothing in that strip that said Richard was holding back against Batman.
