    Dr. Rex Morgan is a doctor in Glenwood, California there he and his nurse June Gale solve the medical and emotional problems of patients and friends over the years.

    Eventually June and Rex were married (after being an item for 47 comic strip years) and have a daughter named Sarah. Rex and June are both very nice people, if a little on the dull side, they now run a free clinic.  

    Unlike some newspaper strip characters Rex Morgan M.D. very seldom shows up in comic books save for a three issue one in 1956 and a famous (or notorious ) one shot called Teen-Age Dope Slaves. The character has also been featured in a number of free comics given away at clinics on a number of health subjects such as pregnancy, HIV/AIDS, and epilepsy.
