Wolverine continues his revenge on the Red Right Hand, but will he be able to finish them off? What plans does the Red Right Hand really have for Wolverine?
The Good
Renato Guedes is killing it in the art department. Let's not leave out Jose Magalhaes on inks and Matthew Wilson on colors though. This is the type of art that you don't need word bubbles for. The story completely tells itself in pictures, although the word definitely help with some of the more in depth details. The pacing was perfect, and I'm extremely pumped to see how this ends.
Again, Jason Aaron is doing a wonderful job on this book. Right now, I couldn't see another person writing this book and couldn't even fathom someone taking over. The execution of his stories is perfect, and it's one of the few books I cannot wait to read every month.
The Bad
This is the only issue in this title that I have really not liked the story. It didn't appeal to me, and while I thought the execution was delivered well and the dialogue was great, the overall story, in this particular issue, was so-so. Many of you will enjoy it more than I did because it's a bit more up your alley, but for me, it didn't ring my bell.
The Verdict
Regardless of what I thought about this particular issue, Jason Aaron's run on this book has been fantastic so far. In this particular issue his writing was spot on and the art team of Guedes, Magalhaes, and Wilson was outstanding. For me, the actual story in this issue was a bit of a let down, but believe it or not, I still recommend you pick it up. It's been a great story so far, and while it may not have been my favorite, it's still worth the money.
