Resurrection Man #4

Art - The art is solidly above average even though it is minorly inconsistent.

Story - It's a battle issue. The fight from the previous issue continues and intensifies a bit more...and then ends with a shocking twist.

Characterization - Amazingly with the characters all come through crisp and clear. They all feel like they have more to them than what they are presented as right now and at the end we are shown that that is true. The biggest out of established character moment was at the very end but it works really well.

Recommendation - The series keeps getting better and deeper with every issue. The only problem is that you can't jump on here, but other than that Buy this book.

The overall averageness of the series continues here.  With the last issue's showdown between Mitch and the Body Doubles over it is now to the Transhuman to intervene to save his new found friend.  This leads to a fun but forgettable battle between Bonny and the new character.  In the meanwhile Carmen has to deal with Mitch who has fought off the effects of the drugs.  In effect the first part of this issue has little plot and lots of action.  As the second part of the issue starts though there ...

The Good: There's a pretty interesting perspective on the cover. It doesn't completely work, but it doesn't fail as much as the previous two covers. The artwork is great, as usual, and I have a lot to say about it, but for starters, the first page has an absolutely excellent establishing shot.
