With the possibility of this series going either up or down after the last issue, it seems to be heading down with this issue.  The series seems to be taking a more serious and spiritual look at death and life through the eyes of the main character and that works for a lot of this story, even the parts where he is talking with the old man with Alzheimers.  Casting the Body Doubles as the villains here though certainly detracts away from the tone of the book.  In the previous issue I was a little hesitant to see them show up and for good reason here, as the less serious aspect of the characters does not really fit the story here so much.  For what they provided they could have been any two female super agents, but the background of the characters here didn’t work.  The story is still kind of interesting, but I am not sure where to go with it, or whether to take it seriously.

Darryl seems like a very fun character and I do want to see if he's a former supervillain or not. I hav...

The Good: The pacing of all the behind the scenes work of the various factions is excellent. I genuinely have no idea who's after what or why despite seeing the antagonists more than the protagonist does. I feel like I'm in the same boat as Mitch, not sure who to trust, just that there's multiple groups of people after him. Despite the random appearance of the memory loss subplot, it's pretty interestingly developed. I'm especially intrigued by his father's friend Darryl, he seems like he'll be ...
