In this issue members of the BSAA ( Bioterrorism Security Assignment Aliance ) is sent into space to investigate a spacestation and its bioweapon experiments. At the same time another agen on Earth is sent into a desert in Grezbeistan to deal with "bio weaponry there.
Now for the review. It sucks. Plain and simple.
I understand wanting to expand on a license to make it your own. I think Dark Horse has done that with many sci fi Icons with great success. However this manages to bear no resemblance whatsoever to its license. Including the atmosphere and feeling, which is the one thing a book like this should have.
I guess with the liberties taken by the movies i should not be surprised, and I'm not. I am disappointed. The worst crime commited by the book is to not have any characters worth giving a damn about. The art isn't even half assed, it is horrible. The writing is sophmoric and it is filled with that pseudo military speak that cursed Rob Liefelds Youngblood.
This should paint the picture. I would rather read the entire run of Youngblood than this issue again.
