Does the Red Skull hate Jewish people?

#1 Posted by ShadowSilver (249 posts) - - Show Bio

We all know that the Red Skull is a former soldier of the Nazi regime. I was wondering..since he was apart of that evil organization...did he support the National Socialist beliefs of a pure Aryan nation? Did he support the idea creation of the extermination/concentration camps? Sure, he has stood by Hitler's side for years but I was wondering about deep ideas that the Red Skull supported.

I've seen him call Cap a "Jew-Lover" before, so yeah, he definitely has a dislike for the Jewish people

Red Skull hates everyone, Jewish people included, and he did kill more than a few incompetent Nazi's.

not necessarily. it would be like saying everyone who owned slaves hates blacks. Sometimes people have to do things they don't agree with because of the society they are in. But if you are high up in a an organization as Red Skull, odds are you don't mind what you are doing.

I'm going to go against the grain and say that I don't think he necessarily does (at least not more than he hates anybody else; he's just a pretty hateful person). He embraced the Nazi doctrine in the 40s because it offered him an obvious path to power, which has always been the motivating force in his life. He later abandoned the Nazi philosophy as being "outdated" (in other words, no longer offering him any tangible benefits). As to him calling Cap a "Jew-Lover," I'd be willing to chalk that up to him simply taunting Cap, more than revealing any personal prejudices of his own. He knew that something so slurful (yeah, I know that really isn't a word) would be sure to incite Cap's righteousness. He's like Anne Coulter; I don't believe she believes in half the crap she writes; she just does it to provoke a response.

@Caligula: You have a point there. Many people are forced to believe the prejudice beliefs that are put on their shoulders. The society tries to control them.

Yes. He has all of the typical Nazi prejudices and biases.

eh. I kind of agree with this. But to actually own slaves would imply that ones think they are beneath them and that they themselves are superior. So it is possible that they do not hate them but they do not consider themselves equal. But i'm splitting hairs.
As far as the topic goes I would say he harbors a great contempt for them and has very little regard for their lives.
