Johann Schmidt was Hitler's personal creation, a true servant of the Third Reich. He was special, above all the others and became a Nazi general and Hitler's confidant. Red Skull is usually known as being Hitler's successor as when he faced his counterpart, Steve Rogers, he was left in suspended animation. He was brought back by the efforts of HYDRA many years later and he continued his effort to kill Captain America. And now as one of the last Nazis he has outlived Hitler and has left a legacy of his own. |
