    "Ninja? I'm insulted." 0

In the 12th issue of Red Robin the answers to the questions we've been looking for this past year are revealed.  Why did Tim Drake come to the conclusion Bruce Wayne was stuck in time?  The answer is here.    What You Need To Know. Tim Drake has been traveling the globe, looking for clues that prove that Bruce is alive.  He teamed up with Ra' Al Ghul only to betray him.  As a result Ra's has targeted the Batman Family.  Tim is on a one way collision course and his target is Ra's Al Ghul.  The Go...

    Review: Red Robin #12 1

Red Robin has more than a few aces up his sleeve for his final fight against Ra's al Ghul.  THE GOOD  More than anything, this issue is to be appreciated as a character-centered story. All the action, storytelling, plot devices, fights, quips, scene transitions... all of it extends from this believable depiction of Tim Drake. I really like how Yost writes him as something of a legend-in-progress. He's passed his training, for sure, but he's still figuring things out for himsel...

    A Completely Satisfying Conclusion 2

When Chris Yost began writing "Red Robin," fans were not pleased. There were complaints about A) the Red Robin name and costume, B) Tim being forced out of his Robin role, C) Tim's crazy, out of nowhere idea about Bruce being alive, and D) Tim being too dark and "Bruce-like." I imagine that Chris Yost has a smile on his face somewhere as message boards and reviews are going up for "Red Robin" #12.      Tim Wayne has his loyal fans, and he probably, and deservedly, has some more after this i...

"You're My brother Dick. You'll Always be There"`~ Tim Drake 3

The cover for this issue still does not beat issue 10 but, I think it comes in a close second. I thought the cover was great. The story begins with Red Robin sneaks on Ra al Gaul. Ra wanted revenge on Bruce so he wanted to take down everyone he cared for but, Red Robin took care of that. All his friends helped take care of Bruce's love ones.  Tim tells Ra that he is the head of Wayne industries. Ra and Tim start to fight and  Tim falls out of the glass and Dick saves him. Tim wakes up in the...

why did you start stuffing your costume? 0

It's been a tough year for Tim. Before this he was Robin, leader of the teen titans and the symbol for all young heroes. The all of a sudden the Dark Knight himself dies ( or so we thought at the time ) and the whole foundation of the bat-family crumbles, with Dick Grason finaly taking the mantle of the Bat, and taking Damian on as his Robin. But what about Tim? where did he fit into all of this? Next thing we know we get Tim as Red Robin on a crazed journey around the world convinced that Bruce...

    It's a bird,it's a plane,it's Red Robin falling from a window! 0

We reach the conclusion of Collision. It's a showdown between Red Robin and Ras al' Ghul. The battle reaches brutal blows. Ras kicks Red Robin out of a window and falls down. Batman comes to the rescue to help a fallen Red Robin. Tim later recovers and wakes up with Alfred, Damian, Steph, and Dick. Of course Damian and Stephanie are fighting. According to the newspaper, Tim is getting married. Stephanie must be jealous. At the very end, Tim sees some pictures that have been replaced with Bruce, ...

    Better than batman??? 0

Let me start off by saying I've really enjoyed Yost's run on RR, I'm gutted he hasn't been given more time as it feels like Yost was only getting started.   The Good Once again Yost makes a point of demonstrating why Tim is fated to be better than Bruce. In a previous issue he focussed on his training from some of the best in the world and how he has taken on their strengths but eliminated their weaknesses, this issue moves to his detective skills and friends within the DC universe. Yost has rea...

"He will produce a worthy Heir. I'll get right on that." 0

This was an all around great issue and an even better pay off for those who have been following the series. I have no complaints. It was just great all around . The writing was just amazing Chris Yost at his finest, and Damien was just was hilarous. The art is just amizing but, what else do you expect from someone who worked at aspen? All and all I give this 5 Mysterious Grandaughters/Daughters  of Ra's trying to make Tim their Baby's Daddy out of 5. ...

    GOOOD 0

I’ve recently decided that Tim Drake/Robin #3/Red Robin is my second favorite superhero in comics.  This issue wrapped up Yost’s run on the book and a year long storyline.  It was incredibly satisfying.  Marcus To’s artwork is progressively getting better.  There was a sort of sexist quip by Damian, but he’s a dick (one who’s growing on me).  The new costume looks good even though I sort of liked how it was in two parts before and now it’s in one.  Overall, I was really thrilled with it....
