Ok, there's no denying that this is a particularly awesome cover. Not my favorite, but I have to appreciate the intensity and the balance. The only problem is that it doesn't reflect the events of the issue whatsoever. Yes, Bleez is on Earth, but her role in this issue is entirely passive. She's an observer who takes little to no action herself. It's RANKORR who actually does stuff on Earth, and nothing even near that major.This issue comes so close to FINALLY being that one issue that begins to...

Red Lanterns is a title I have read intermittently since the launch of the New 52. I like the idea of this book but I wonder if it is being used to its full potential or not.The GoodAs I said above, I like the IDEA of 'Corps' books. The flexibility to explore a milieu of characters from a variety of planets within an organization that extends through out the cosmos seems like it would be an awesome experience for a writer. The cover isn't bad but it has nothing to do with the story except the fact that Bleez goes to Earth with Rankorr.Things are going on after the Red Lanterns fought the Third Army and everyone is doing their own thing.Atrocitus is having a dream that the Manhunters are attacking his home planet again,Rankorr is back to Earth to visit his brother and Dex-Starr is going to take his revenge.What Atrocitus is doing is not bad and in fact it is pretty good for him to feel all of those horrible things ...
