Thank you Peter Milligan for being the deepest writer in comics psychologically. From insane stories like Shade, Face and Eaters, to the symbolic alchemy in Hellblazer, you get to the root of what makes people tick.  I am glad you are writing the Red Lanterns, because a lesser writer would have a lot of angry aliens beating things up without rhyme or reason.  The character piece stories of the 52 I find the most interesting because they create an accessible point.  This is ...

Right off the bat...... This isn't ground breaking by any means. It's pretty much ALL fanservice from the giant splash of Dex-Starr to Bleez's T/A shot every couple panels. But! and this is a big one. It also sets up some good potential with the side story of the two teenagers who's Grandfather got mugged and seem like at least one of them are going to become a Red lantern and it recaps all what has happened lately very well. Red Lanterns #1The first thing I thought of when I heard they were making this series was "why the red lanterns?". I'm sure I'm not the only person that thought that question. But when I started reading this comic I was like there are some really good characters that have potential in this comic book. We see the walks of rage in different forms in this issue.
