So is he The Red Hood yet?

Last issue, Talia decided to go against her Father's wishes and put Jason Todd into the Lazarus pit, thinking it could restore his mind. Well, it did. So where do we go from here?

    Pros:

I liked the opening. Jason Todd is upset and its understandable considering that he found out that he hasn't been avenged (that or he found out the readers killed him off). The ironic part about this issue is that Jason goes after Batman by targeting the batmobile, which is how Jason and Batman met. Utilizing the skills Batman has taught him, he manages to distract Batman to plant a bomb on the batmobile (which is funny considering the amount of time it took to plant it).

I noted that last issue that Superboy Prime's epic punch that brought back Jason wasn't mentioned. Its the same with this issue, and Jason himself isn't worried how he's back to life. I guess if he's not worried, the readers shouldn't be either.

The artwork was pretty good and consistent. Like I said, the opening pages portrayed Jason well. Compared to last issue, Jason looks like a teenager throughout rather than switching from a kid to a teenager in the last issue. Even characters like Batman and Penguin show up and they look good.

    Cons:

While the opening was strong, the issue got a little slow thanks to Talia trying to track Jason, but it picks up later.

There was a couple of pages I got confused on when Jason dug himself out of the coffin. He runs from an agent that was tracking him in what seems to be his funeral clothing. Was that an error or am I missing something?

I'm not exactly sure why Talia is still in this book. I would think that Talia's role would be done in the last issue considering that she was the narrator. I guess she holds some kind of responsibility towards Jason.

Overall, this is not a bad issue, its just not what I expected. So far, this series is starting off very slow. The ending shows some promise towards the next issue. Again, this series is not for everyone only for those who are just curious on Jason days after he came back to life or who for new fans.

      Not Much To Say 0

For this latest issue of the Red Hood: The Lost Days I feel excited and a little let down at the same time. What I Liked: I loved the art in this issue. I really just think that it’s good to look at. The shading is perfect in my opinion and I love the attention given to detail. I also have to say that this is the most beautiful version of Talia Al Ghul that I have seen. I enjoyed seeing into the mind of Jason Todd. Being a fan of the character this was kind of a treat for me. Also his though...

Review: Red Hood Loast Days #2 0

More of Jason Todd's resurrection is revealed, and what he did between that and his Red Hood days.  The Good Overall, I like the fact this story exists. I loved the first issue, and I can't wait to see how this all plays out, even though we all know how it ends up. Judd Winick's writing is as strong as ever and Cliff Richards (pages 2-9) art is great. The first four pages of Jason freaking out, were probably by far my favorite part of the issue, not just because of the action, but because o...
