    It's not over! 1

SPOILERS! (If you haven't been following DotF or Picked up RHatO 17 yet, TURN BACK! THAR BE SPOILS AHEAD!)Red Hood and the Outlaws has been Hit or Miss in the past couple of issues (miss and miss during Death of the Family) but this issue was amazing!Firstly, nothing can be said before addressing the incredible cover art on this one; Mico Suayan has put together what might be my favorite piece of cover art of 2013. It perfectly describes the book, and does it so elegantly. This issue opens up wit...

    RHTO #17 0

PREFACE:After last week's tie in to Death of the Family, Jason is still hanging around the Manor and has a heart to heart with most of the residents in it. Roy and Kori are ecstatic to see Jason in one piece, but has Joker's plan been completed, or is there more going on than we know. Green is not on art detail, and I want to extend my highest gratitude for having him on board, but we are also graced with multiple talents here to finish off Lobdell's finale. Will Scott's story hold up to the hyp...

    Friends and Family 1

Hands down the best Red Hood and the Outlaws cover yet. Deeply intense with the callback to the classic Death in the Family; which of course this arc's title was a reference to. The reflection in the pool of blood as Batman repeats one of the worst moments of his life, and the extra detailed artwork of Mico Suayan.... just incredible. There's only one real problem with this issue, and that's the inconsistent artwork. This issue has three different artists coming and going at random; none of them ...

    RHATO #17 1

Don't Let the Door Hit You on Your Way Out!Nightwing's follow up issue to Death of the Family was quite satisfying, so now I am curious if Red Hood and the Outlaws will get a similarly great story. I was not particularly impressed with RHATO's crossover with Death of the Family though it had some moments. It will be nice to see this trio of antiheroes reunited since Roy and Jason have been on separate adventures and Kory barely received any face time in the past couple issues. Does RHATO #17 bri...

    Who's Laughing Now? 1

Overall I've been really enjoying this series. Since Jason Todd came back from the dead way back in Under the Hood I've became a big fan of the character, and think that he's being used a lot better now as Red Hood than he was when he was Robin, so I was ecstatic when this series came out. Okay it's not been perfect, but apart from last issue most of the series has been very good.PlotIn the aftermath of Death of the Family Red Hood is at Wayne Manor with his fellow Outlaws, Arsenal (Roy Harper),...

    Welcome Home, Jason 0

Okay, I'm a little late in writing this review but here we go.I found this issue absolutely fantastic. In the beginning, I was not sold on Red Hood and the outlaws but I am now a believer. This issue shows the fallout from the Joker's attack on the bat family. Even though Joker was defeated, he is still showing how much control he has over Jason's life. Roy Harper's exchange with Damien is extremely fun. Roy shows Damien how to have a good time while letting him know that he is not the only one ...

Jason is about to leave Wayne Manor after the events of DEATH OF THE FAMILY.The GoodThe aftermath events of DEATH OF THE FAMILY are here! With such an action packed main story in Scott Snyder's BATMAN, it is time to slow things down with the aftermath issues. What is good about this issue is that it follows Jason Todd's inner monologue and explaining how he sees things especially after the Joker's return and presumed death.Scott Lobdell did a good job with this issue. The pace of this issue is v...
