Red Hood and the Outlaws #13
Timothy Green II doesn't exactly try to clone Kenneth Rocafort but he does add something special to the book. The sketchiness that he has in his style really does make the panels pop much more. The expressions are also fluid and they show what the characters are feeling without over doing everything. The story continues from Issue #12 and it ends like we would have though. We get to see all these character come together and really fight to repel the Blight invasion. It's very cool to see Starfire at her home planet because she feels much more natural. Roy narrates the story and it instantly makes the weakest character on this series become a little better and interesting. The end of this issue is surely going to lead into some epic crossover next issue.
THE BAD:
The story is very predictable. There is also a minor death in this issue that was a little weak that probably could have used a little more development.
THE VERDICT: 4/5 (Great)
This series gets better and I'm glad I'm still getting it. Jason is a really cool character and you know this going in, but getting to meet these characters that may be new to you such as Roy Harper and Starfire is really cool to see and you have a lot of fun reading it with all the humor that is added due to Scott Lobdell. If you want a fun comic then this is something that you are going to want to get. I highly recommend this issue.
