@Teerack: Hmm, guess I don't really see that. To me it looks like she still has the usual hourglass shape most comic book females get along with the large breasts; chest and legs being wider than her stomach.

@Outside_85: You can't have an hourglass figure unless the middle of the figure actually curves inward.....

^Hilarious.

Raven is a caster so her body should be soft and thin. Only flying brick(flight not required) types should have heroic builds.

@Teerack: And it does? Her chest and legs are wider than her stomach?

D.U.M.B.

#108 Posted by Teerack (5413 posts) - - Show Bio

@Outside_85: It does but hardly. For it to be an hourglass it needs to be really defined at her hips and boobs. Like the shape of an hourglass.

@Teerack: Well that is true, but her form doesn't appear to be that different from the current Starfire. But I suppose DC is trying to avoid making their girls look like the anatomically defying (and really unhealthy looking) girls Liefeld drew.

@Outside_85: I'd tend to disagree. Starfire's definitely a bit shapelier. But as I said earlier, we've only got one frame of this Raven. I've had over a year's worth of Starfire to decide from.

@DarkShadows: Thoughts? Okay. IT'S HORRIBLE!!!!!!!! They're taking the name Raven TOO LITERALLY!!!! I mean seriously, FEATHERS?!?!?!? Before she had a mystical wizardress feel to her, now it's straight up superhero and that doesn't sit right with me

"Hey, how about, instead of having her be somewhat Raven-like, let's make her an actually frigging raven!"

You know, I get the feeling that this costume is temporary, but costume is the wrong word as I think this is her original form

I have not read the issue yet but from the little I've read she's in a demon dimension with her dad and of course is not a member of the Titans yet. Maybe once she joins them, she'll change her look.

That's what i was thinking, since she's still tied to trigon maybe this is her "villain-esque" costume and she'll get a "Hero-esque" look down the road. Then everyone can relax ^___^ *fingers crossed*

I have a feeling when she becomes, "good" again (or for the first time?), the mask will shatter. I kind of got the impression that her mask is what keeps her under trigon's will. I have no idea what is going on with the character but, hopefully the mask isn't permanent. The cloak must return. It's like having a Superman costume without the S..... You just don't change the fundamental design of an existing character like that.

unless she was plain looking, & wanted to cast a spell on her appearance to make herself look more attractive.
