Um... Modern China occupies a very large land mass, including lands occupied in the past by nomadic Turko-Mongol tribes (such as Inner Mongolia and Xinjiang) which included both people that looked like contemporary East Asians and Middle Easterners... Besides, wasn't it established pre-New 52 that Sensei was Ra's Al Ghul's father? That would make him at least half Chinese by default. Regardless though, It doesn't really change his identity as an Arabic villain, since it's been so well established.

Now if you go by the movies, both Ra's Al Ghul and the Mandarin are Caucasian.

Ra's al Ghul's ethnic origins is Eastern Asia......he's Chinese.....
