Rann is the center of an epic battle between Thanagar, the deadly forces of Lady Styx and the army of Synnar the Demiurge. With their back against the wall, Adam Strange's plan to save the Rannians from decimation seems to be impossible but the appearance of Starman gave the defenders a new reason to smile and hope for victory.
But what could happen when the only chance to survive Armageddon is death itself? What will happen with Rann and more important? What's the plan in Synnar's hands?
