    Ran came from a long family bloodline of police officers, but wasn't motivated to become one because she cannot wear her favorite accessories and hairstyles while on duty. She took a path to becoming a kogal, and now rules the streets of Shibuya. Along with her companions, Ran also protects her domain against rival kogals as well as other urban undesirables.
