Star Wars: The Clone Wars - C-3PO & R2-D2 Become "Nomad Droids"

If it's one thing that R2-D2 and C-3PO know how to do, it's how to get into trouble. It's almost as if it's simply their destiny to get into as many precarious situations as possible. The next all-new episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars is no exception.

"Nomad Droids" airs Friday, October 14, at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT on Cartoon Network. The two droids are forced to escape a Separatist attack in a Y-Wing fighter and end up on the world of the Patitites on the odd planet Balnab. That may not sound too bad but soon they find themselves forced to fight in a gladiatorial arena. I have a bad feeling about this.

They are meant to suffer. It's their lot in life.

@doublezeroduck: It's so sad that it's true.

You gotta love the dynamic duo that they make, lol. And I'm feeling such a Gulliver's Travels vibe to this...its great!

Looking good! I need to catch on Clone Wars episodes. I'm a bunch of episodes late, despite my love for this show.

I just had to make this when I saw R2-D2 with his little shiv.

Heh, that is awesome.

Yeah, it basically seemed like this episode was a Star Wars version of clips of Gulliver's Travels and Wizard of Oz. I'm not sure if the pirate section was trying to riff off anything in particular.

I enjoy when animation productions use this technique, as used to be incredibly common practice with the Looney Tunes and Animaniacs type shows.
