1572 – In order to secure the peace between Catholics and Protestants, a marriage of convenience is arranged between Margot and the son of the Queen of Navarre. Incapable of overcoming her aversion to her fiancé, and still secretly in love with the Duke of Guise, Margot will try to escape the forced marriage.
