Daisy Louise Johnson is the daughter of villain Mr.Hyde and prostitute Jennifer Johnson. She was giving up for adoption and was taken in by Greggory and Janet Sutter who renamed the seven month old Daisy, Cory Sutter. The two were unaware of her parentage and raised Daisy as their own, not telling her that she was adopted. Seventeen years later, a teenage Daisy had an extremely high I.Q. and was failing out of school. She was caught by the police after stealing CDs from a record store. After being caught, she became agitated and lost control of her body, causing her powers to cause a tremor, recorded at 3.2 on the Richter Scale. From here she was taken in to speak to Nick Fury. She was brought to the S.H.I.E.L.D. facility in Portland, Oregon and was interrogated by Nick Fury. From there Fury informed her of her powers and her real parentage. Fury then offered Daisy to become a special agent of S.H.I.E.L.D.
Later tests were carried out on Daisy and it turned out her powers weren't the cause of the mutant gene, but rather happened due to her father's chemical testings on himself, which passed down genetically to Daisy. Daisy then received her training and became an expert member of S.H.I.E.L.D. Johnson took to her training well. She showed a real aptitude, in-particular the black ops angle. Fury noted she would have finished top of her class even without her powers. She also gained a Level 10 security clearance at 18 years of age, the highest security clearance on the planet.
Quake, first introduced as simply Daisy Johnson, was created by Brian Michael Bendis and Gabriele Dell'Otto in their Secret War limited series, where she was featured as a trusted and valued secret weapon of Nick Fury's. Dell'Otto based her visually on Angelina Jolie.
After introducing Daisy Johnson in Secret War, Brian Michael Bendis proceeded to use her as a recurring character in the Avengers franchise of titles he wrote. This eventually culminated with her getting her own team, the Secret Warriors, during Bendis' Secret Invasion event.
Daisy was then handed over to writer Jonathan Hickman, who wrote the 28-issue Secret Warriors series and took charge of her development as a character. She was featured as Fury's most prized student, sharing a pseudo father/daughter relationship with him. The series chronicles her development as a leader, her love affair with Hellfire, the betrayal that followed and her ultimate ascension to run the new organization Fury created.

After gaining her security clearance, Fury chose Daisy to be part of his 'secret war' in Latveria against Prime Minister Lucia Von Bardas. Daisy took part in the operation and invaded Lucia's castle. There the group confronted Lucia and her troops, and Fury revealed his plan, to kill Von Bardas and teach the terrorists a lesson. Fury instructed Daisy to 'bring it all down... all of it.' Daisy complied and used her powers to destroy the entire castle and to apparently kill Lucia. The rest of the group disagreed with Fury's actions, in particular using a young girl like Daisy to kill. Fury then erased the team's memory of the whole event, apart from S.H.I.E.L.D. agents Daisy and Black Widow.
Exactly one year later, Lucia was revealed to have survived and started exacting vengeance on Nick Fury and the heroes who participated in the Secret War. Lucia managed to create a massive bomb that was about to destroy New York and the worlds heroes, until Daisy arrived and used her powers to pinpoint Von Bardas' power source in her chest area and hit it from the inside out, which surged the chain reaction anti-matter weapon had, stopping her heart in the process. This killed Lucia and stopped the bomb from detonating. After Fury's mind wiping was revealed, Wolverine went into a feral rage and stabbed 'Fury'. To stop Wolverine, Daisy exploded his heart from the inside. Telling the other heroes if they'll try anything else, they'll be next, and they won't heal. Emma Frost then tries to enter her mind, but Daisy tells her to get out of her head, saying she has psychic shields and she'll only end up hurting herself. It's then revealed that Wolverine killed a LMD, whilst Fury maintains contact with Daisy through radio. He tells her not to touch anyone. And with that Daisy mysteriously bids the Earth's heroes goodbye, telling them she learned a lot, even if they don't remember teaching her. Wolverine then aggressively asks, "Who the hell are you?"
After this Daisy is brought into S.H.I.E.L.D. under interrogation by new S.H.I.E.L.D. director Maria Hill. Who questions her on the events, how she came to become a Level 10 agent and if she knows where Nick Fury is. After some pretty dubious remarks and answers. Maria tells her she's off assignment, and will never receive a mission ever again. After she's released, it's revealed she still maintains contact with Nick Fury, ready for her next mission.
After M-Day, Magneto was possessed by the Collective, Daisy aided the New Avengers in stopping him and was eventually the one who defeated him. She induced a vibration in his brain that made him lose consciousness. Here, Daisy thinks up her new code-name, Quake.
Daisy later reunites with Fury in disguise (as his Ultimate Avenger counterpart). Her new assignment is to recruit the descendants of various heroes and villains to aid Fury against the forthcoming Skrull invasion as his new team of Secret Warriors. She recruits each future member individually, including the young mutant prodigy Layla Miller, who declines, telling Daisy she's needed for bigger things, but also tells Daisy that she will become one of the greats. Taking the code name Quake, she attacks the Skrulls during their invasion of Manhattan, along with her teammates with Daisy acting as field leader. The team turned the tide of the battle, saving the Young Avengers and the Initiative from being killed by the Skrulls.
The team then assembled with the world's greatest heroes and villains in Central Park to finally defeat the Skrulls.
The Secret Warriors then continue to operate after the Skrull Invasion, with Daisy acting as their leader. She led the team through many missions including ones against Hydra and the Leviathan, and operations through the Dark Reign and the Siege of Asgard. During the team's time together, team-mate Hellfire seems to have developed an affection towards Quake, often flirting with her and providing medical attention to her. Recently Quake returned his feelings by kissing him surprisingly. Daisy then reveals to the team that there's in-fact two other squads besides her own White Squad, the others being the Grey and Black squads. During their time together on the team, Hellfire and Daisy start a relationship with each other and eventually fall in love. However, after a mission in destroying Hydra, Fury learns Hellfire is the team member that betrayed the team to Hydra and reveals that he knew that he was meeting with Hydra agents. Hellfire explained that HYDRA had found him through the money they stole from that bank months back. They had backed him into a corner, and he was doing all he could to make sure that at least Quake survived. Fury said that he believed Hellfire and that the love between Hellfire and Quake was real. But then, he released Hellfire's arm and let the man fall. Catching up to the Secret Warriors, Fury said only that Hellfire did not make it, leaving Daisy devastated.
Quake rallies alongside the Avengers, Young Avengers and Secret Avengers, led by Steve Rogers as they take down Norman Osborn during Siege. Daisy along with the others are powered up by the Stones of Norn thanks to Loki, in order to battle the Sentry.
Quake travels to Sweden to find and stop the Sin, there she finds a castle where Sin should be staying. Quake takes down the castle not realizing that Steve Rogers, Maria Hill, Victoria Hand and Sharon Carter were inside battling Master Man and the Exiles. They escape the castle without harm and have Quake to thank for saving the team.
Daisy accompanies some of the Avengers to the Raft, following the escape of Norman Osborn. They interrogate John Walker, the warden, to see if he was in any way involved in the breakout. Captain America specifically asked for Daisy to be involved as he wanted "fresh eyes" on the case. She reports back to Cap, telling him that she has found there are several HAMMER agents and loyalists within SHIELD. Right before the new Avengers line up is revealed at a press conference, Captain America asks Quake to join the team, which she accepts. The unveiling is disrupted as a holorgram goes off displaying Norman Osborn. He begins questioning and casting doubts on the Avenger's mission to which the public rallies behind. Quake is sent to find whoever put the hologram in place and tracks a man to his home in New Jersey. There she brutally interrogates him as to Osborn's location.

Powers and Abilities
Due to ‘genetic damage’ caused by her father’s experiments, Daisy gained the ability to generate earthquakes at an early age. Her training under Nick Fury enabled her to target her seismic vibrations with precise accuracy causing her target to vibrate and explode from the inside out. She is immune to any harmful affects of the vibrations.
She has also gained (or was given) a psychic shield, which prevents or aids her in not being harmed by psychic assaults made by those with such abilities.
She has such a fine control over her powers that she can explode a persons heart from the inside, even from a distance. She can range from such delicate uses of her power as this, to bringing down whole building structures in seconds. She can also use her powers to induce vibrations in a persons brain to render them unconscious.
Further training (under Fury) has made her a superb hand-to-hand combatant, a highly skilled athlete and marksman and a qualified undercover agent. She is also a leading espionage agent, adept at undercover assignments.
She also possesses "Level 10" SHIELD security clearance. She is the only known agent aside from Fury and the Black Widow with such clearance.
Quake is part of the West Coast Avengers during the civil war that divided United States into different groups. She's an agent of SHIELD.
In Other Media
Quake appears in the second season, voiced by Lacey Chabert. She is introduced in the episode "Who Do You Trust?" as an agent working for Nick Fury, who has gone rogue after discovering that SHIELD and other agencies across the world have been infiltrated by Skrulls. She goads Phineas Horton into attacking the Avengers in order to allow Black Widow to kidnap Tony Stark, who Fury then passes his information onto. She also appears in "Infiltration" as part of Nick Fury's team, but is quickly knocked unconscious by Queen Veranke, who had been posing as the captive Mockingbird. She returns in the series finale, "Avengers Assemble," as one of the many heroes gathered by Captain America to stop Galactus. She plays a pivotal role in defeating Terrax, one of Galactus' heralds.
Daisy Johnson appears as one of the main characters in the series, initially introduced as a young hacker named Skye. Throughout the show, a running mystery involve's Skye's heritage, as she does not know who her real parents are. It is eventually revealed that Skye was found as a baby in the Hunan province of China, and that her entire village was slaughtered during an attempt to find her. Doubts are later cast as to whether or not she is human, as the mysterious woman Raina implies that she possesses special genetic heritage, and she later is later injected with a serum made from Kree blood without incident (in contrast to the humans who ingested the serum and suffered severe side effects).
In the second season, she is pursued by her father, who is later revealed to be the show's version of Calvin Zabo. He reveals that Skye's real name is Daisy, and that she is an Inhuman like himself (explaining why her blood was compatible with that of a Kree). After being exposed to the Terrigen Mists and undergoing Terrigenis, Daisy discovers that she now has seismic abilities.
In the show, Daisy/Skye is portrayed by actress Chloe Bennet. Her origin is changed slightly so that in addition to being an Inhuman, she is half-Asian as well.
