Punisher
Character » Punisher appears in 2803 issues.
When U.S. Marine veteran Frank Castle's family's was murdered for witnessing a mob hit, the man vowed to avenge their deaths and became a one-man army in his personal war against the criminal underworld. With a distinct death's head skull adorning his chest, Frank Castle became the vigilante known as the Punisher.
is punisher peak human?
No, but he is in terrific condition for a guy his age. His real advantage is his sheer amount of combat experience - at least twice as much as Captain America!
No. He's in great shape, but "peak human condition" is something comic summaries throw around too much
Castle was Marine RECON in Vietnam during its worst period for Americans. He's seen it all on the battle field. He didn't have the luxury of being injected with super-soldier serum to get his skills. He just doesn't possess superhuman abilities though I think he could still wipe the floor with plenty of the meta-humans on wits alone.
Cap saw maybe four years of service in WWII, and thirteen or fourteen after been pulled from the ice. Frank Castle has been fighting continuously since the Vietnam War!
It depends if you followed the Franken-Castle story arc. At the end of that arc, he was magically restored to "peak" condition. And he's age was supposedly reset to like 30s. I dunno, I just read that in an interview or review soemwhere and I didn't follow the Franekcastle story arc.
" No, but he is in terrific condition for a guy his age. His real advantage is his sheer amount of combat experience - at least twice as much as Captain America! "yup.
he'sfit and strong but still way below catain americawho is probably the only true peak human in comics
Can someone please educate me or maybe point me to the right direction? What exactly is peak human condition, as in, what are the factors that fit into that description... it seems it'd be self-explanatory, but I don't like to assume. Please help?
I don't think so, due to the fact that he is portrayed as being outclassed and having to retreat, at least in Remender's run.
" I don't think so, due to the fact that he is portrayed as being outclassed and having to retreat, at least in Remender's run. "Are you referring to his fight with Daken?
" @InnerVenom123: That was one point, but when he ended up running from that SWAT team and and when he was facing all the villains that The Hood resurrected he was getting knocked around if I remember, but only when he was outnumbered. Daken is the only example I remember of him being outclassed one on one, but he isn't peak human for sure. "Fixed.
Anyway... I don't recall the SWAT thing.
To be fair, he wasn't at his a-game when he fought Daken. (Having to murder your own family with a flamethrower can do that).
I can understand that, but I liked Remender portraying him as not being unstoppable against terrible odds.
