you are kidding right?

tony has killed a U.N. official attacked and injured many superheroes because he felt they all had stark tech which not all of them did,, he was responsible for a plane crash and death of the civilians, lastly the civil war and WWH debacle killed many innocent ppl for which tony was solely responsible by his unilateral actions...

No i'm not kidding.None of that makes him a criminal.Iron Man does what he thinks is "right".What actually happens doesn't matter,his intentions are what matters.

Civil War doesn't make Tony a criminal and more accurately he was more of a hero because he was following the laws of the registration act.All the other hereos not on his side "weren't".

World War Hulk was an accident.

Accidents don't make you a criminal.

i accidentally hit a cop because he tackled me and i still went to jail.
ppl have accidentally hit run over ppl and some still go to jail.
ppl have accidentally shot others but they still go to jail.
saying sorry doesnt get you a free pass.

i notice you didnt answer the death of a plane crash he caused or the U.N> official. just because he was found innocent in a court of law or was covered up by shield doesnt mean he is innocent especially to ppl like frank.

You're measuring it by realistic standards.Stark is a superhero.They have a different law system than we do.The things they do that aren't intentional are overlooked until Civil War.Spider-Man "accidentally" killed Gwen Stacy,the only person who calls him a criminal is the man who has been making up stuff about him since day one.

No it isn't.Everything Tony has done was intended to keep people out of harms way.The Registration act especially.

it always starts with doing the right thing and asking ppl to register. i am sure no dictator has ever asked a ggroup of its population to register due to being different. i am sure nothing bad can ever happen when you police a small group of ppl. * rolls eyes

@Dark King: Crossbones maybe. A return from jigsaw would interesting and appropriate. Other wise some sort of heroic death that would make the upstanding heroes such as the Avengers respect him would be best. Maybe at the hands of Osborn....

Tony isn't a dictator.He was opposed to the registration in the beginning.Than he decided it would keep the government off the superhero community,train new heroes so that Stamford never happens again,and make people trust superheroes if they all registered.That's thinking practically not being a dictator.

but if you register which is fine, you should also be allowed to leave whenever you want. tony took that option away from peter.
i have no problem arresting vigilantes when they are caught b/c lets face it all heroes are just that. but, forcing them to register is wrong. now lets talk about who else punisher can kill, we'll leave tony for the future death column. :)

@Dark King: Probably not, because I am not sure what Punisher's current load out is. I know I saw him using Pym's helmit and particles to shrink himself. But you question wasn't could he it was should he :)

I know a lot of people hate Stark in this thread, but it is not like he broke the law. Technically, speaking the heroes on Caps side were breaking the law by going againts the United States government and resisting arrest. Now realistically speaking the initiative wasn't awful. It had some good points and would of been a good law except for 3 or 4 major issues.

The only things that made it terrible was, forcing superheroes to reveal their identity to the general public (if heroes only revealed their identities to shield and made sure they were not leaked it would be okay. So only the shield and maybe the president had access to them.
Forcing heroes to work for the government instead of giving them the option to retire or do some other job, this part gets complicated, but it was a big flaw of the initiative
than the initiative employing super villains, which I still don't fully understand
