I had no clue they were making a new Punisher movie.

Neither did I until very recently. I hope it's good for everyone that wants to see it. (I'm not going to see it)

Honestly, I was disappointed when Thomas Jane turned the role down.  However, I'm going to be optimistic in seeing this other guy.  He might do a great job.  I'll decide that when I see it.

Looks like Ray Stevenson's traded in his spatha for an M-16.

YEah this one looks better then 2003 and it's a compleley diffrent story not a sequel which im happy about because i can't stand when they make a sequel without the lead actor from the original.Ive seen the trailer and that alone puts the last movie to shame it looks like a comic accurate version of the punisher .so im kinda glad thomas jane pussied out.

Thomas Jane did not like the story and plot scrpt sucked but that happends in all comics some punisher comics u can miss but it could be alright not better

I liked Thomas Jane as the Punisher, but the violence in the second newest Punisher was kind of pg-13. Never the less, the new Punisher looks much more violate and action packed, which all of us Punisher fans deserve. Watch this and maybe you will think the same way.

I think it will be a decent movie and alot grittier and violent than the previous one.

Although i think Clive Owen would have been a better choice.

I think the movie will prolly flop because from what i saw it'll just be another shoot em up movie that marvel wants to make a profit off of. I have doubts that the movie will have a decent plotline or even dialouge for that matter. Though im still open to reason

I think it actually looks kinda weak. Especially next to the original. I cant stand when a movie replaces the lead actor but keeps the same character. Thomas Jane was the perfect Punisher and they should have locked him up for at least two movies.

There were no midnight showings of it by my place, so I'm going to see it at 11 tonight.

I know he bailed. But its Hollywood, if they really wanted him to they could have gotten him. Now instead its yet another sequel with a new actor.

I can't help but to believe that this will be overshadowed by the other great comic movies this year (Dark Knight, Iron man, Hulk, Hellboy, Wanted) seems like the wrong year to launch this (same goes for the Spirit)

well to me it surpised funny if you have twisted sensed of humor.
