    A Fun B-Movie ....Nothing More 1

The only way to describe this film is balls to the wall crazy fun. This is as good as a Punisher film could get, I honestly don't think a better film staring Frank Castle can be made. The film is great for anyone who wants to shut their brain off and just watch a fun movie. Sure the acting is chessy, but to be honest that only comes from Dominic West and Doug Hutchison. Doug Hutchison is great in the movie and plays a character I'd love to see in the comics eventually, however I felt that maybe ...

    Very Good 0

This movie brings me back to the old gory 80s action movies.  A great way to make a punisher movie.  This movie has some dark humor in it.  The language is very expllicit, (eg. around 20 or more f***s) but true to the style of the movie.  I would not suggest this to squemish viewers as there are  many gory scenes.  Back to the review, the movie's story is pretty strong, and the fight scenes are plentiful.  If you like action packed fun movies this is a movie for you.  If not then watch somethi...

    Best Punisher Movie 0

Why this movie has become a flop is beyond me. I'd like to think that it has something to do with the tainted reputation of the Punisher thanks to his last (awful) movie from 2003 with Thomas Jane and that that made the public stay away from this movie. Now, before I go on, let me tell you that I'm a tough sell for comic-book movies, I disliked Daredevil, Elektra, the 2003 Punisher, the two Fantastic Four movies, and X-men 3. That being said, this movie was very good. It reminded me of an old 19...

    The Best We've Got 1

Poor Punisher. He hasn't been treated with any respect in other media. The worst offender (that I've seen) is the 2004 Punisher movie with Thomas Jane. I originally got that and War Zone at the same time, and I watched the Jane one first. The only thing close to positive I can say about that movie is the costume looked pretty cool. I quickly got rid of War Zone, and seeing the type of reviews it got, I never looked back.Fast forward to 2013. It's been kind of boring, I love the Punisher even mor...

Welcome to Frank's infamous slaughterhouse. 0

The deadly vigilante called Punisher aka Frank Castle (Ray Stevenson) stages a bloody and brutal sneak attack on the Cesare mob family. After annihilating the branch, he sets his gun sights on Billy "The Beaut" Russoti (Dominic West). Their confrontation ends with consequences as Billy some how survives their fight then goes into a revenge plot. Also, an FBI agent by the name of Budiansky (Colin Salmon) wants to bring the Punisher in. -summaryAfter three Punisher films already that took place in...

Watch This Movie or You’re Punishing Yourself 0

There are times when I wonder why do I do this to myself? After the first two movies which were horrible, why did I rent this third outing of Frank Castle? Why do I bother to rent these movies and watch them? Am I some sort of masochist? Thankfully, Punisher: War Zone reminds me of why I enjoy superhero movies. It contains everything that was lacking in the previous 1989 or 2004 Punisher movies and you should watch this movie, otherwise you’re just punishing yourself.First, the director ma...
