Plot Summary

Some sins you can never atone for. In the heart of “Secret Invasion,” as the world faces an enormous threat, as every hero in the Marvel Universe is fighting for the very survival of mankind, Frank Castle and Stuart Clarke are trying very, very hard to kill one another. With no more secrets left to be learned and no more places left to hide, these former allies are left with no other choice but to put the other one in the ground. But what about G.W. Bridge? Who's side is he on? And what about all those Skrulls? Who's gonna kill all of them?

So, after the wholesale slaughter of issue twenty four, the writers decided to take a Kill Bill approach to the storyline and slow things down drastically. It turns out to be The Punisher, his partner, and G.W. Bridge against a Skrull sniper. Also like Kill Bill, there is just a bunch more story and characterization in this issue. Most of the story has a root in issues I did not read, but this did not affect my ability to understand or enjoy what was going on. The art is still a question for me, I just do not believe it fits the character well enough.
It is a decent yet totally irrellevant chapter to the story.
