Punisher War Journal #13

A lot of people are down on this title, but i for one think it's great. It's not Watchmen, it's The Punisher in the MU using all sorts of zany gadgets and tricks to take out Super Villains.

That's. Freakin'. Funny.

Matt Fraction has kept tongue planted firmly in cheek during this book's run, even during Frank's reaction to Captain america's death, which i for one, thought was a damn good reaction.

Punisher's an unbalanced individual who lives in a comic book world. His main title only plays on half that equation.

All that said, this was a good 1st part of a 3 part story. Any time Frank and Spidey get together hilarity will ensue. Kraven came across as a viable threat and his ultimate goal is down right "puts the lotion on it's skin" creepy.

Like i said, this isn't Watchmen and i'm not judging it as such. This is simple fun action with excellent over the top art. That's my take.
