Punisher: Nightmare issue 1 set up the story last week. A former soldier, Johnny, was ambushed while spending an evening with his family. They were killed, he survived. The situation was very similar to the one that happened to Frank Castle. He decided to avenge Johnny's family. Johnny supposedly in a coma, wakes up and decides to join Frank and take down the people who killed his family.The first issue was a straight forward series book. The second issue, while very good, was all over the place...

This is probably the weirdest serious comic I have ever read. The whole thing is narrated by Jake Niman/Johnny Nightmare who, as it turns out, is completely crazy. The comic is set during about five different times. Jake/Johnny narrates something that is happening at one point in his life, says "wait" and switches to another point in his life with similar events. A comic like this which is different to what we comic readers are used to could have worked well but instead, the whole thing just got...

STORY(MAY CONTAIN SPOILERS): This issue began with Jake thinking about his past some sargeat screaming at him, a doctor with a vaccine, him "burying" Johnny Nightmare in the war and remembering the shooting that killed is family. He and Frank were in the street on mission and then we see in the next page Jake bleeding in the floor. Then we see Frank asking him how can he healed in twelve hours from third degree burns and gunshot wounds. One interesting detail is that he wear the shirt with the ...
