I can't believe the "british" Psylocke is fairing so well. Obviously a half naked ninja will win every time, but I prefer the older Betsy. If they only would combine both characters she could be a kick @ss raven look-a-like with psychic fist daggers and a glowing butterfly stare.

I love all versions of Betsy, British, Asian, Alternate, Video, Animated or otherwise. I love the character not the race.

Either, if only to expand the number of nationalities represented in any comics.

She was written very well for years. As asian she wasn't, she was written as asian booty, then under a few writers pen she became more than booty in asian face.

Asian. Not only did she keep her memories & power(feel like I stepped on a landmine sayin' that) but she got the assassin's too (not to mention Asians r my kryptonite...don't even start singin'...)

Brit Psylocke did use psychic knives and she IS Psylocke. Brit, hands down.

I've always considered Asian Psylocke to be a stereotype and a gimmick. She's another bad-a** , scantily clad character marketed to teen boys. Originally, Betsy Braddock was a white Brit, underestimated by the X-Men because of her upper class background. It felt like a cheat to suddenly make her into this ninja psychic, without any of the work you'd have do to get there. And as far as I know, the writers have never bothered to explore what it's like to suddenly change race. I suppose her status as a mutant trumps racial and class issues.
