Her Royal Highness

Her knowledge of politics and galactic society made her a valued member of the team. She soon fell in love with Val Armorr, Karate Kid. When Projectra's father King Voxv died, her cousin Pharoxx and grandmother Hagga challenged her right to be ruler. Projectra along with Val and the Legion defeated Pharoxx and Hagga in trial by combat securing her place as ruler of Orando.

She married Karate Kid and they became reserve members of the Legion. When the Legion of Super-Villains attacked Orando, Nemesis Kid challenged Val to single combat. Val was killed, and Projectra killed Nemesis Kid in retribution. This violated the Legion code against killing, and she resigned completely, absorbing herself in governing her world.

A Mask is Born

Projectra returned to the Legion twice more. The first time to battle Mordru and his army of living dead, including Karate Kid. She also worked with the Legion to fix the broken time stream. However the attempts were unsuccessful and the Legion vanished.

Post-Zero Hour

This character had possibly the most radical shift after the Zero Hour reboot. Her name was now Jeka Wynzorr, and although she was still the princess of the royal family of Orando, the royal family of Orando were large, sentient snakes. Unhappy with the social inequality of her homeworld, Jeka used her illusion-casting powers to disguise herself as human and tried out for the Legion of Super-Heroes. She was accepted, after which she revealed her true form.

Current Continuity

Projectra is once again humanoid, and still the daughter of the Orando royal family. When she joined the Legion, however, she had no powers other than a direct line to her family's funds. She was an extremely spoiled child, who ostensibly joined the Legion on a whim. The Legion, desperate for funds, accepted her and was happy to make her a full member in return for regular "donations" to their coffers.

A Princess Sets Out

Projectra's comfortable life ended abruptly with the destruction of her home world by Terra Firma, a group of meta-humans organized by Praetor Lemnos. With her parents and her race dead, her hereditary illusion-casting powers kicked in. The loss of her old life was accompanied by the gain of a new one, her full-fledged entry into the Legion.

After the loss of her homeworld and people, Projectra was informed by the United Planets and Saturn Girl's mother, that she was essentially broke. She was given the option of being naturalized on Earth, but she refused, asking to speak with the President. When she was denied, she created an illusion to attack the two guards escorting her off the grounds. These events have led her down a very dark path, in fact only hours later, Projectra was involved in a robbery. In which, instead of helping the police pursue the robbers, she instead steals a bracelet. In another instance, she attacked two tourists attempting to get her autograph.
