Most underrated and under used characters.

Here's a list of Characters I think are amazing characters, but for some reason writers don't know how to make them interesting or haven't made them into the major characters they could be.
1)Havok
(Here's an amazing character with tremendous potential and an incredible back ground that can be the makings of an epic character)
2) Hawkeye
(Who can deny the fact that Hawkeye always trying to live up to Cap's Ideal, but being haunted by his past  demons ultimately brings him to personal internal turmoil doesn't sound like a great story line?)
3). Blue Beetle
(I could never understand why they used Ted Kord as a throw away character. I was a fan of his early series and JLI, but it just seemed like they never really explored all his possibilities.)
4) Thundarr the Barbarian.
(I  know a Saturday Morning cartoon, but how awesome would a mini series be?)
5.) Ghost Rider
(Johnny Blaze is a great character and while they come out with book after book they just keep dropping the ball. This is a character they should play up like DC did with Swamp thing in the early 80's.)
6.) Aquaman.
(While I enjoyed the Peter David runs on the character, I just have the feeling most writers who attempt this character just don't get it.)
7) Hourman.,
(I've always loved the look of the character as well as the story behind him. I just wish they would  do more with him.)
8) Nightcrawler.
(While yes I understand he's a major character, but ever since Chris Claremont's original departure from everything X titled in the 90's no one has captured what I loved so much about the character: his optimism. I can't stand this brooding, Catholic priest nonsense that they've put him through. Nightcrawler isn't Wolverine, he's the polar opposite, he's the swashbuckling Errol Flynn of the X-Men always seeing the best of the situation no matter how oppressive.)
9)   Centurious
(Here's one of my all time favorite bad guys that was just so rife with possibility, and as always Marvel blew it with him in the 90's and gave him a costume. I remember when I first read Ghost Rider as a kid in the late 70's and early 80's and I read the origin story of the man without a soul. Oh the countless stories they could have come up with around him. He could go up against Ghost Rider, Dr. Strange and a number of great characters and not only that he has that Dr. Doom noble, could have been a hero quality to him.)
10) ROM Space kinght
(while I know Marvel doesn't own the rights they should try to get them back or have the great old mouse buy them, because I used to love the epic stories of ROM against the Dire Wraiths)
11) Dr. Strange
(mind you I haven't read anything current in about 5 years. I just can't deal with these huge event story lines that don't pay off til 7 years later across 50 titles.  But I've always been fascinated by Dr Strange and I've always thought he could play a much more major role in the Marvel Universe than he does.)
12) Dr. Fate
(Same reasons. Plus I love that helmet.)
13) Hydra/AIM
( I would love to maybe see a mini series of either.)
 14) Antman
( I would have loved to have seen a split series with Scott Lang and Hank Pym. Two great characters so much potential)
15) Thunderbolts
(while I'm still sure this is a ongoing series my gripe is:  WHY WHY WHY would you take the story line where it is now? This was such a great group and Marvel does what it always does what they do with a great book or great writing they destroy it. I don't care about Norman Osborne. He belongs in Spider-Man. I don't care about more bad guys who are bad guys being bad guys doing bad guy things, I want to know what happened to Abner, the Fixer, Moonstone, Hawkeye, and the rest of the crew. I wanted to see them be redeemed. I wanted to see what Baron Zemo was up to. I've always loved him, he's like the Red Skull and Dr. Doom.) yeah I think they need to get back on track.)
16) The Shroud
17) The Needle
18) The Hangman
19) Poltergiest
20) The Digger
More to come
