the funniest I read are manga like Tuxedo Gin and, ironically, Jackie Chan Adventures. (which is just screenshots of the show with word balloons attached, not sure if you'd call that a proper manga) There are others too (manga = funnier than western comics?) but those 2 are probably the funniest from what I've read.

If my answer has to be a western comic, the answer is definitely anything with the X-Statix team.

I wasn't saying anime/manga objectifies men, necessarily, just that the men are overwhelmingly likely to have "large intense eyes" and "kissable lips" and builds that are "more lean" compared to western comics. If Batman was an manga series, I reckon he might actually fit that cartoon strip's interpretation and he would look younger.

Yea the left is one example of what Bruce Wayne probably would look like in a Batman manga.

oh man that would be so awsum

p.s. ricken-art has a DA: http://ricken-art.deviantart.com and apparently it's a she not a he.

He needs to be able to get angry so he can turn into the Hulk.

Well I'm guessing that's the explanation.

No kill rules are ok in works of fantasy but we all know that in reality, lots of killings are happening everyday in fighting crime and in wars. We all have to at least eat plants to survive so we all have some experience of killing every day.

Plants don't have consciousness.

Daredevil really needs a costume re-design.

I like his old yellow costume, maybe he should go back to that.

You mean the red and yellow one? That was even worse.

Red and yellow, yes.

It has more personality I think. It looks more old-timey which I think suits his story well. (fighting organized crime and such)

But it's weird because I don't like Daredevil anyway cause he's blind.. so admittedly I have absolutely no business commenting on the costume. Admittedly, his costume should stay red, unless an actual Daredevil fan thinks otherwise. Take my 2 cents with a grain of salt, as it were.

edit: oh jeez is he holding a cane? why does he fight with a cane when in costume?? I hope that's not a cane but an okinawa weapon of some sort that to us just looks like a cane.

I guess what I should have said is that the intention of the bottle water scene (I did not read this issue btw) was simply to point out the culture shock from being transported to a new decade. The scene did its job. The accuracy as far as exactly when bottled water actually took off, and the exact year adult Cyclops existed in, is not expressly important, and furthemore, being a fictional universe, both those things are abstract concepts to begin with. (as a forum user here pointed out, if official Marvel continuity was taken at face value, NYC suffers "a 9/11 scale disaster every 4 days") (quote recited from memory) (dunno if it's actually true)

I don't know if this is in the power of "a" DC editor but it would be great if Sonic would be taken from Archie. (Ten times better if I was on board for that as an editor.) I had an idea that at least four ongoings could be based on the Sonic series. (add one more, if an ongoing was specifically made to continue the deplorable Archie universe. But this is only if Archie has to discontinue theirs.) My ideas for ongoings were:

  • Super Sonic The Hedgehog (the name is simply to avoid confusion with the Archie ongoing)
  • Sonic Unleashed (or a different name if deemed necessary so people won't simply think it's an outdated tie in.. another name could be Sonic The Werehog.. or Sonic Werehog Adventure.. or etc)
  • Silver the Hedgehog (or "Silver + Blaze")
  • Shadow the Hedgehog (or "Shadow & Rouge")
  • a comic starring Knuckles and/or Chaotix and/or Eggman

And this is me being conservative. I suppose if I tried, there could simply be two: 1) Shadow the Hedgehog (with a large supporting cast including Rouge, Eggman, Knuckles, and Chaotix) and 2) a Sonic comic in which Sonic simply happened to retained the ability to werehog.
