@maxsavage: I didn't think it was "lazy" writing. We don't know how long Superman and Lex were walking around Apokolips. It could have been hours for all we know. And I don't remember Superman being able to last TOO long under a Red Sun.

@phantomjolt: in a way that isn't a complete rip off of Batman? I mean, it's not like we're in a world without cell phones or communication devices. Joe could volunteer as the "Flash liaison" in charge of contacting Flash.

Hellgrammite. Now there's someone I never thought I'd ever see in a TV show. I thought the character was forever condemned to be a forgotten Superman villain that nobody has seen since the 90s.

Anyway, this was an amazing issue. Great balance of developments with each of the story threads. Also I liked the way they explained the reason behind Bruce's change. It makes sense. Plus, it doesn't necessarily rule out any return to the status quo.

@renchamp: are Tony and Matt really the only staff? What about Corey?

This was great! I kind of agree with some people saying that nothing of much importance happened, but it was still well-written and the developments here will probably play a huge role later on.

It's good to see Finch still utilizing some of Azzarello's concepts and characters. I think I'm gonna pick this up.

@wowlock: They mean the continuity across the entire DCU, NOT the individual continuity of each title. I would've thought that'd be obvious to anyone.

@perchance2dream: you mean a book that was completely out of canon and where Alfred was the Joker?
