I don't get what the re-design is...Orion, now with stubble?

He looks the same, you just used a bad artist vs. a good one to sway people to believing your way is the right way. That's called propaganda.

But the other one is Chiang O.o
BB

Just because he drew one of my favorite comics doesn't make him a good artist. Maybe I'm forgetting others he drew (I mostly think of him as an editor) but I never liked his style with Wonder Woman at least. Only comic I can recall his style working was the awesome Beware the Creeper miniseries.

@Zaleos: Dude, where are you from? Just because a country is large does not mean it is not united. People from Canada consider themselves Canadian, not just Albertan or Ontarian. Also they have planets, including Earth, as locations.

That's actually the first point I made anyways, as you said, people from Canada are Canadian...people from the US identify themselves by what state they are from.

Hopefully Dark Horse will use more time on new creation in stead of buying license for every other movie/TV show.

Except fans of those licenses love Dark Horse's comics so clearly they were doing a good thing. I mean look at the success of Buffy, holy crap. It doesn't work that way anyways because in a creator-owned publisher you need the creators to come to you. The thing that makes Dark Horse so great is that it gives fans of various franchises access to more content whether it be translating some of the most acclaimed mangas, archiving some of the most rare and sought after comics from decades ago, continuing the stories from beloved television or movie franchises or Conan. New comic franchises isn't really what Dark Horse is about, that's Image.

Truth is I keep forgetting the world is supposed to end, who even keeps track of what the date is? I think people cared more about this thing years ago (like 90's to a couple years ago) but nobody actually cares now. At this point there's nothing to feed the hysteria because there's no signs of anything.

I don't think anyone will act any differently. Sure, a lot of people will probably commit suicide but that's called Christmas.

Yeah but the US isn't really a country in the technical sense, it's a loose alignment of states that all see themselves as independent from one another. It'd be like making a page for South America (which apparently there is one?). Okay, fine, the point is, everything in the U.S. takes place in a specific state. Nothing is ever just in the "United States". It's a big country so it naturally gets divided into things being set in a specific portion because it varies so much and different portions aren't even similar. The only three countries bigger are just understood as stereotypes to comic writers so if something is in Canada there's just snow everywhere and if it's in Russia there's snow everywhere and a communist symbol in frame and if it's in China, there's lots of people but it doesn't have to be set in a specific province, territory, federal subject or what have you. Really, these countries probably shouldn't have pages either but it's because comic writers and readers are not from those countries they get location pages.

Those aren't there most successful titles though. I'm pretty sure it'll be a non-issue, the Star Wars comics from Dark Horse that got the most love already ended anyways.

I find this sort of stuff silly just because even if video games did have an effect on kids shooting up schools, the actual issue at hand isn't what can we ban so this event isn't possible because it will always be possible but what can you do so there aren't people who want to kill a bunch of people (it's got nothing to do with video games) but that means trying to help those specific individuals, which would require effort. Therefore, everyone should be punished and nobody helped.

Sure, but the examples you provide aren't really the same thing. I hate "change for the sake of change" that is invalidating previous comics for the sake of selling new ones (New 52, Brand New Day) but a significant change that was built up through a proper story and actually makes sense is great and the entire point of comics (Superior Spider-Man). Who just wants the status quo to remain constant for decades? That's got to be so boring.

I don't where that's from but I think it doesn't look like Creeper although it would be awesome if Creeper were to get a series in The New 52 (as long as it weren't cancelled six issues later).
