I can always use more Marvel Illuminati! They include some of my all-time favorite Marvel characters. Plus, having the most powerful and intelligent folks on Earth all sitting around at the same table is awesome.
No Higgins, no Barrows, a crappy Shiva redesign and a lackluster issue 13. I'm just going to gear up for Death of the Family. I'll be back Dick, but not for this Shiva garbage.
I was really just introduced to John in JLDark when I stared up with Lemire taking over. He kept appearing throughout Animal Man too. Recently I've started reading Gaiman's works (a long overdue measure) and Constantine appears in Sandman among others. I haven't read Hellblazer yet (I will!), but I like the idea of giving him a New 52 title.
This doesn't make Hellblazer any less valid, and I can't wait to read more of the character in any iteration.
yeah Doom was the 1st I thought with resources etc. Carnage can be defeated with sonics... but doesn't he have new mini-clone powers? idk
Plus Doom has that unmistakable attitude of his. I think that itself would be an awesome foil for Batman. Bruce has to break into Latvaria sort of Splinter Cell style and come face to face with a man who talks in third person that combines magic with science for devastating results.
I agree with you about Carnage. Fire and sonics are notable thing Batman ALREADY carries in his belt regularly.
