Signing a big splash page, a cover or a really good part is not bad, but G-man is right, happening more than once in the comic or placing it on a noticeable place is just not right.  
I like to think of the pages in my comic as art, and that the artist really drew a bigger image with a signature so f someone wants the art it would be showing more stuff. Sometimes I also like to think the art is good and the fact that a signature is not there is because it is under a panel (like in those spread pages that have panels on the sides) 

Judge Dredd by any chance?

Does anybody else think it is weird that Beast is in the Secret Avengers roster? 
The Secret Avengers team is supposed to deal with missions and stuff the rest of the guys do not know and will possibly never know, the team probably does assassination or kills if it has to. Doesn't that sound like the thing Beast was having fights with Cyclops for? Remember recently he has been having problems with Cyclops having X.Force do the dirty work that had to be done. 
I know Beast was an Avenger before, and once an Avenger always an Avenger, but it seams that they just needed an ex-Avenger that was a scientist or labman of sorts. 
Any comments? I may as well have overreacted or assumed more than what there is.

I liked the issue, but I have a love hate relationship with her spells. I love that you can know what she does by reading the spell backwards but it seems so lame. 
I thought g-man was going to change to a 4 after all the things he said, seemed to me he enjoyed the issue a lot more than what he graded it for.
