A work of art 0

If I had to give an epithet to Batman Hush it would be: perfect. For me the graphic novel made by the team Jeph Loeb, Jim Lee and Scott Williams is a work of art that all Batman fans must have. The introduction made by Jeph Loeb in the graphic novel shows the dedication these three men had when doing it, and how they realized how important this story was going to be. The story begins with Batman on a mission to rescue a boy that has been kidnapped by Killer Croc, during the operation Batman ...

Facing the reality 0

This arc is getting to his end and is getting interesting. J. Michael Straczynski and Phil Hester write a great episode of the Princess of Themyscira.  Goddess Circe and Bellona are torturing Doctor Psycho to tell them where he has taken Diana. Cheetah, Artemis, Giganta and Diana break into the room where Circe and Bellona, Diana recognizes the W sculpted on the doors and walks towards them,  meanwhile a savage fights breaks btween Circe, Bellona, Cheetah, Artemis and Giganta.  When Diana opens ...

Jedi's golden age 0

The episode II of Star Wars brought better things than episode I and of them was the story. A story that has action, love and an impressive battle on the surface of Geonosis.  Senator Padme Amidala (Natalie Portman) arrives on Coruscant but as she lands she's the target of a terrorist attack. Jedi MAsters Yoda, Mace Windu (Samuel L Jackson) and Ki-Adi-Mundi (Silas Carson) are meeting with Chancellor Palpatine (Ian McDiarmid) about this event and the bad consequences that may bring. Master Obi Wa...

Epic movie 0

This has to be the greatest movie of heroes ever made in history because you keep your breath until the end. The story begins with an incredible bank robbery made at daylight, a bank robbery that only lasts a few minutes but is very intensive, surprising you with the appearance of Joker (Heath Ledger) and talking a little bit about his ideas of fear. Batman (Christian Bale) follows the hint of the robberies and finds out that an accountant from Hong Kong is the responsible of watching it. DA H...

Return of a hero 0

When I knew that Superman was returning to the movies I had curiosity to know how they were going to do it. Unfortunately he didn’t return as I expected. Lex Luthor (Kevin Spacey) inherits a big heir from a rich woman something that gives him the possibility to be what he was in the past. Meanwhile, in Smallville, Kansas, a pod lands near the Kent farm. Inside the pod is Superman (Brandon Routh) who returns after a five years absence, when scientists said they found a possible place with Krypt...

Iron fiasco 0

Hey guy, what happened with that creativity that made the first movie a great one! Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) makes appearance at the Stark Expo wearing his armor and driving people crazy. After his speech he makes himself a blood taste just to see that is infected. The reason is that his electric device in his chest is killing him and there’s nothing that may replace it. Pepper Potts (Gwyneth Paltrow) realizes something is going wrong with Tony but he surprises her by giving her the charge...

Birth of a hero 0

I have to admit that I had no big expectations for Spider-man but I had a big surprise to see the film was entertaining. Peter Parker (Tobey Maguire) is a nerd, a boy living with his uncles Ben and May, and in love with the girl next door, Mary Jane (Kirsten Dunst). One day at the museum his life changes when a spider bites him combining her DNA with his. Meanwhile, Norman Osborn (Willem Dafoe) receives bad news from the CEO of his company saying he’s out of the business, all thanks to bad res...

When I went to see this movie I had no big expectations but I left the theater with a big smile. This film is all fun.  Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr) is a very rich man and a genius of technology but also a man who thinks everybody love him. When visiting Afghanistan for the presentation of a new weapon he's captured by a warlord group, they ask him to make that same weapon for them, at change they will let them live. With the help of Yinsen (Shaun Toub) he makes an armor capable ot resist bulle...

He's hidden of everything and working in a factory that produces juices. He's in contact weith somebody call Mr Blue, a mysterious character that is working in a cure for him to control Hulk. Seeing green 0

When they announced that they were going to release Hulk I had big expectations, this character has a possibilities and it could be a great show of action. But it was a let down.  Everything starts with Dr Banner (Erica Bana) suffering an accident when experimenting with Gamma radiation, when he wakes up he realizes has something is different. Until here the story is how we know it but as the story goes on everything turns confusing and psychedelic. Dr Banner's father (Nick Nolte) knows that his...

Old memories of the 1980's 0

Producer Ilya Salkind produced this movie in search of a big hit like Superman was, but, this is not the film of steel he was expecting.  Kara Zor-El (Helen Slater) is playing with the Omegahedron, a power device that supplies necessary energy to Argo City, an accident occurs and the device is lost in space. Feeling she has to do something Kara goes after it in a small spaceship. On Earth, Selena (Faye Dunaway), finds the Omegahedron while she's in a picnic and realizes of its power and the poss...

The power of love 0

The cover isn't the best I've seen with Diana wearing her new outfit mixing the Amazon style and the Sapphire Corps'. They also abused of using pink.Diana joined Carol Ferris in their fight against the Black Ring when they're attacking a city. The power both have to fight is very powerful and they easily beat Maxwell Lord, but, Mera attacks Wonder Woman with all her rage.Diana manages to resiste her attacks by showing her the past she had with Aquaman and the love they shared, also showing her a...

Remembering who she is 0

The cover is great with Diana represented in a puzzle wearing her classic outfit and the new one. A way to tell us he’s trying to put the pieces in order. Etta Candy explains Diana that she arrived that same morning with multiple injuries and now she’s fine. Nurse Prince gives Diana her clothes and a blue cape decorated with starts, she explains that a woman call Myra Clotho. Myra explains Diana something about her past and the Gods, when Myra passes away Giganta, Artemis and Cheetah attack h...

Back to the drowsiness 0

On the cover we see Wonder Woman fighting with herself in the different outfits she has worn in comics. A very interesting image that has nothing to do with the inside. Like always. Diana wakes up and sees Dr Psycho with a different appearance he’s not that ugly small man we see in the stories. He explains her who she is in different places and in different moments of history, she’s not only the leader of a town of women, she’s also the leader of men. When she returns to Themyscira in this pa...

Action returns 0

The cover is full of dramatism with Diana crying her killed Amazon sisters. All the cover is red except the place where Diana and a dead Amazon are, that’s a good contrast. Diana and the remaining Amazons return to the safe house that is completely shattered, when she finds her shield Giganta, Cheetah and Artemis attack her by surprise. Meanwhile, Circe and Bellona receive a message from Goddess Enyo telling them Diana must die. When Diana is surrounded in an alley by Giganta, Cheetah and Art...

Confession of the Minotaur 0

On the cover we see Diana holding the Minotaur with her lasso under the surprised look of the Amazons that are with her. A good cover that shows what is about to come. Diana fights with her bare hands to all the skeleton warriors just to discover they were covering a pit that takes to a secret hide in the sewers. There they find the child Diana was supposed to protect guard by the Minotaur, who tries to escape but Diana catches him with the lasso just to see how much power she has over it. Me...

Battling Cennounos 0

I wonder if the creative team ran off ideas to make this cover with a white background. Diana is on the floor with an arrow in her shoulder while Cennounos mock of her and the Amazons. Phillipus goes in her aid but she’s finally beaten and killed, possibly in a very graphic way, more than what we usually see in comics. When Diana beats Cennounos the Amazons go with her to an old site where sacrifices were made and are attacked by warrior skeletons. The story has definitively gone down since ...

Men are bad 0

Once again the cover has nothing to do with the inside in any of their versions. A total waste of paper. This is the story of Wonder Woman where I've seen more violence against men than any other one, not violence. HATE. The story is boring to tears, where has the interesting story gone to? It's impossible to take Wonder Woman seriously this way.I recommend to avoid this muck and save your time and money....

A very confusing finale 0

This cover made by David Finch is possibily the best one I've ever seen in my life, it's full of realis, life and the face of the girl shows all the tender Aphrodite IX would have is she was real. I would watch it for hours. This stroty finale is very confusing you don't know if you're in the past or in the present, we start with dcotor Mane playing with Aphrodite until Madame chairman appears an orders to take her away. Later we see Neville Stewart aiding her in  secret place, jumo to where we l...

Shocking revelation. 0

The cover shows Aphrodite with a slight smile and an empty background, like they hadn’t ideas for this issue. Aphrodite is under interrogation by police detectives that show her people that died in violent circumstances, and all the clues point at her as the assassin. Neville Stewart brings an order to free and takes her to the Singletary tower where everything started. After a fast flashback of the flashback we appear in the moment when issue #2 finished, when police officers attack her in ...

Discovering the past 0

The cover isn't very attractive with all those devices covering Aphrodite's IX face. It's claustrophobic. We start seeing a woman talking to a council talking about life and death before introducing Aphrodite IX as the perfect synthetic being, a being everybody can be in the future. A future where you can live forever.Neville Steawart finds Aphrodite laying on the floor and takes her to his house, when she wakes up she can't remember anything, except that she's sure she has seen Neville before, s...

Thank you Mister Finch for such great art.The story begins with Aphrodite jumping off a building and fighting security guards but a mysterious character takes her away. A little introduction 0

The cover shows us a sexy-beautiful good looking green hair girl with weapons and lifting her skirt. Well, a very revealing cover more than the usual something that let us know what's about to come. This is a small introduction to Aphrodite IX a half machine half woman made in a laboratory. The illustration can remind the famous Anime "Ghost in the shell" by the way they make her.Unfortunately I can't say more because this introduction has only 5 pages, but they're important to understand who i...

The hunt for Big Moe 0

The cover of this comic shows us Aspen in a Blue battle suit but it doesn't appear in the whole story, the same goes to her powers to control the water. Aspen and Baha are in the hunt for a dangerous water creature call Big Moe, a creature Aspen thinks is a myth until they mett it face to face. Aspen relizes that the Big Mow needs two creatures to travel the sea, those two creatures are the ones that have been terrifying all the West coast. The story is a little let down as is not as intense as ...

Who is he? 0

The cover shows Wonder Woman about to fight a mysterious being holding the Lasso of truth with unknown intetions. The flames add intensity to the moment. We finally know who's that mysterious being that led the attack on Themyscira and the one who killed Diana's mother. His name's Lucius. He tells his story to Diana and how he became in what he is. Diana uses all her rage to fight her but surprinsingly, Hyppolita, appears from the flames to kill the bing diana is fighting with. In the desert a g...

Walking into the Tartarus 0

The cover shows us Wonder Wonder ready to confront a strange creature and two those few Amazons that remian alive on the floor, like they have been atacked and are seriously wounded. There's a lot of tension in the art. Wonder Wonder keeps protecting the last Amazons that remain alive, when they arrive at the rendezvous point, they discover that the mercenaries that must help them are all hurted. They have been attacked by a strange creatures call Keres. Creatures with the power to absorb your s...

Baha, the old crazy man 0

In the cover we see Aspen Matthews swiiming near a strange creature. Is not too revealing but it has realtion with what's oing on inside the comic. The art adds mystery to all. Everything start when a strange sea creature appears in the middle of the San Diego Sea World and interrupts the show of the shamu and kills the trainer. This creature also appears on the beach killing a man and terrorizing his friends. Aspen is doing surf thinking of what she has lived and of Cannon Hawke. When resting s...

So much noise for this? 0

When they announced that Wonder Woman #600 was going to be special tih so many guests I expected something really, good, better than the last crap they published of her fighting space Amazons. You knowm those 80 pages specials. But what do I get? 4 different stories. 1. The first story shows WW leading a group of women that is attacking Washington D.C.. When the fight finishes she goes to the graduation of Vanessa Kapatelis. That's right. Like nothing happened minutes before. 2. A story involvin...

Final conflict 0

In the cover we see Aspen and Cannon getting ready for the final conflict with the Blue. That shows a lot of tensionas we see Killian's face in the background. Aspen and Cannon are about to confront Killian and his folllowers to stop the destruction of the world aided by Chance aboard the Blue fighter. Things don't go as expected as the Blue fighter activates an unexpectedly sel-destroying system and crashes near the place where Cannon and Killian and are fighting. Rise of the blue sun 0

The cover of this issue is one of the darkest I've ever seen, Aspen is crying and most of the back is black. A not so ellaborated cover. Tyler Kincaid is giving the news about the combat between the US Navy and the Japanese Navy and how both sides deny the use any secret weapon, when a blue sphere has appared in the outer space. Kyla reveals some things to Aspen about the Blue civilization but she dies before she can finish. Cannon explains Aspen what happened to her and her brother the same day...

Killian's attack 0

What I don't like about the cover is that has nothing to do with the story inside the comic. The usual. Killian expalins us how he has used USA and Japan to proceed his plan of invasion of Earth, how his vision of an aquatic planet will be completed. Cannon is attempting a rescue of Aspen at the DMD but they're surprised. Most surprinsingly yet is when Kyla kills one of the Blue guards to help Cannon and his group to escape of the installations. When Kyla is seriously injured Aspen uses her powe...

Dark secrets revealed 0

The cover of this issue shows us Aspen in her Blue combat suit and walking over the water. The combination of golden letters and dark background is very elegant. The action takes place one month astef Aspen is kidnapped by Killian's people. She's in Costa Rica to be in her first mission to demonstrate everybody she's ready. During the attack they encounter a Japanese commando trying to destroy the same installations, but they fail when they're attacked by the Blue. In San Diego Tyler and Chris a...

Meet Cannon Hawke 0

The cover of this issue shows Aspen being rescued by Cannon Hawke from the Blue. The cover shows a lot of dramatism and is an advance of what's about to come. I prefer this cover to the variant that has more color, is not so saturated and you can keep the attention on the action. We start with Cannon Hawke explaining that he was trying to save the ship that disappeared in 1974 from a power beam shot from the space, but he fails when his chasers deactivate his fighter. He thinks of Aspen in that ...
