About Me

Origin: Delos

Height: 7’2”

Physical abilities: Delos is (or was) a world that was high-gravity, compared to Earth. As a result, Delossians tend to be stronger and more muscular than humans of comparable physical development. Xundar is considered to be freakishly strong even by Delossian standards, and has demonstrated the ability to press a ton overhead, unassisted. He has also demonstrated the ability to exert himself for hours at a time without need for rest or showing signs of fatigue, as well as showing a high tolerance for pain. Delossians have also been a spacefaring race for countless generations, so they do not experience the loss of muscular and skeletal strength that frequently plagues humans who spend extended periods of time in low-gravity environments. Additionally, Delossians are highly resistant to the many kinds of radiation encountered in space.

Skills: Xundar is a pure fighting machine. He has spent virtually all of his adult life (and most of his youth) training in every available form of both hand-to-hand and ranged combat the Delossian military could offer him exposure to (and as Delos was a widely spacefaring civilization, this was many, many forms). His tendency to fly into a berserk rage at the slightest provocation makes him far more inclined to brute force than finesse, but his immense strength and preference for weapons designed for overwhelming force make this approach more than sufficient, in most cases. He is comfortable enough with piloting vehicles and making use of most higher technology, but any device that tries his patience is likely to be smashed, slashed. or riddled with plasma bolts.

Gear:

Delossian battlesuit: a standard-issue set or armor for Delossian heavy infantry, the suit effectively doubles the wearer's strength and grants them the durability comparable to a fortified bunker. The helmet provides infrared vision, an assisted targeting array, and a rebreathing unit that allows the wearer to operate in hostile or even airless environments. The left gauntlet of the suit also contains a retractable duranium blade for use in close-quarters combat.
Plasma repeating cannon: this hefty weapon resembles a conventional minigun in appearance and function, but fires shots of superheated plasma instead of bullets.
Antimatter assault rifle: one of the most powerful Delossian weapons that doesn't require a vehicle mount, this devastating armament fires a concentrated burst of antimatter that will typically annihilate anything it hits. The weapon requires several seconds to cool down between shots.
Plasma pistol: a standard sidearm that fires smaller plasma charges.

Biography: Xundar was an angry, violent child. He grew into an angry, violent adult. His decidedly checkered career in the Delossian military saw him decorated numerous times for bravery and combat prowess as often as it saw him punished for insubordination and violent outbursts against fellow soldiers and even superior officers. Despite his value as an instrument of death on the battlefield, his volatile temper and seeming addiction to violence and killing ultimately caused his being deemed too dangerous for further duty and confined to a prison ship.

When the ship came under attack by the Abyssal Imperium in their war against Delos, the prisoner impressed his attackers by killing several dozen of them barehanded and partially restrained, including several Grizzlon reavers. Deemed too useful to kill but too chaotic to be granted freedom, he was put into stasis in the Oubliette until an appropriate use for him could be found.
