Yeah I wasnt a massive fan of the phoenix 5 but it is canon, and to be fair the phoenix wasn't actually intended for them so it does work. It also shows in that each of them fell quite quickly to madness with only Emma (a telepath) and Cyke (who knows how the phoenix force works more than most) lasting till the end.

So getting back on subject,

Could Storm host the phoenix? Definitely.

Could she maintain it? Longer than a lot of non psychics due to her own knowledge of it and her will, but inevitably she would succumb to its power.

Should she host it? It would depend on the story, a phoenix 5 scenario then why not, but otherwise no.

I like medusa but thats it really, I dont really like their latest concept in all honesty purely because I guarantee it does bring about a film in the MCU that the die hard fanboys will say is the X-Men of the marvel world. and it isnt.

The thing that annoys me mainly is that, If the original Jean Grey wasn't allowed to get away with mass murder and had to perma die even if she was a main stay X-Men then why on Earth is Wanda allowed to walk the streets.

There are several characters that I think could possibly fit into omega status but for me and this isn't just because I am a big fan, but I really think Storm needs that classification if she doesn't already have it, I say this based on something that happened in the comics yearrrrrs ago before the omega stuff came about.

Rogue Storm.

If Storm could learn to control that then she would be considered Omega surely. Plus she can see everything as energy, so you aren't telling me that she couldn't learn to control it enough to access those pieces of energy.

God I wish Emma would be chummy with Storm and go "I have kept this from you... you are an omega... Here is an unlock"

I am just getting tired of the X-Men being split I guess, Xavier had to have some big secret but its just like ergh to me. I was hoping for the school to go to someone like Emma and then have the groups sort of come together for something.

I am sorry but it was just horrific, I think the whole Xavier Mystique thing is ridiculous and will eventually be something like "Mystique did it all after he died". I want them to just quit the whole thing and bring all the X-Men back together, I am bored of the poor characterizations of each character.
