You have to shoot him,ok,let's say you absolutely have no choice........shoot the f*cing leg,you global idiot!!........man....

I don't know why people always go "Shoot them in the leg!". Y'all are aware you're just as likely to bleed out if they hit you in certain places in the leg, right?

He killed the boy........

Yes. I'm aware.

And as it was already pointed out, this isn't a fictional story. Shooting someone in the leg, or another body part does not immediately disarm a threat nor does it even secure that said person will survive.

This is the problem with these types of things, it's people on the outside judging a split-second decision from an individual who is trained to make threat assessments and respond accordingly. Sorry, child or not -- if you draw a gun on a cop, you're more than likely going to get shot. They don't have the luxury to stop and examine the potential weapon.

Police officers, and even soldiers for that matter, are trained to quickly and effectively dispatch threats to protect the greater good. Not make miracle shots in the heat of the moment.

Also ignoring the fact that this isn't fiction. Police Officers are not trained to shoot people in the arms and legs. They're trained to assess threat levels and diffuse said threat. No one, not even trained soldiers, are going to go "Oh, okay. He pulled out of a gun. Is it real? Is it a toy? Let me just shoot him in the leg!".

You pull a gun on a cop, fake or not, prepare to be shot if you don't disclose beforehand that you A. Have it and B. it's fake.

Because you know what happens the one time when the gun isn't fake and the threat isn't assessed properly, or he shoots the person in the leg? They shoot back.

@arturocalakayvee: Oh no, he's not white! Blasphemy!

Seriously, read the comic before you claim he's a different character. To me, things like how the character is written means more than the color of his skin and hair.

If Wally being black is not big deal then why is Barry Allen not black? Why is Superman not black? Why is Batman not black? Why is Wonder Woman white instead of Mediterranean? It's a reboot, after all, why did they have to force the token black guy Cyborg onto the Justice League when it's such a not big deal to make someone black after a reboot?

It's stupid because it's not the same character, that's why none of the main JLers got the ol race swap. Clearly there's a difference or they wouldn't have thought about changing it. There's no point in calling him Wally West if he's not going to be Wally West. If you want more black superheroes then make more black superheros, don't take the old superhero who you deleted and replace him with "Black guy whose superpower is running fast." It's Alan Scott all over again. They're making everyone who's not their main characters random stuff because the only ones they care about are the people who show up in Justice League and you can't have any of those guys being something other than white.

I still can't believe they decided to make the guy who goes fast black. It's so freaking amazingly dumb. If he's anything like Wally he'll also be a smartass from a broken home who likes to play basketball. The black guy stereotype homerun.

Don't worry! They're hamfisting black Superman into Earth-2!

@lowlaville: Except they still have literally no way to beat him. And every single of them would have the X-Gene, so wouldn't he just have made like...a hundred Iceman's, all fully capable of using their power?

He's also never used his ability on anyone like Iceman as far as I'm aware of. There's not a whole lot supporting that Iceman wouldn't be able to reform -- since he's basically an ice elemental consciousness. He could more than likely just pull all of himself into a single body.

Uh yes, basically the same power, just weaker by the number of people. Yes they will be able to use their powers to full potential, but they are still weaker than the original. And when Gildarts used crash on Natsu, his consciousness also got sliced and diced up a thousand times. And it cant be combined using your conventional elemental ways as Ive said before. icemans in a lot of trouble here if he decides to go and make Gildarts his opponent.

Except there's no evidence that he can't forcibly bring himself back together, as no one Gildarts has ever used it on has had the control that Iceman does. Characters like Natsu are clearly not simply a floating consciousness like Iceman, they require physical form.

And if they're all able to use their power to their full potential, then you basically have 30 Iceman's running around ripping moisture out of everyone, flash freezing people to absolute zero, freezing their blood, spawning more ice clones. So...congrats I guess. Gildarts will be the sole reason his team loses.

That's great, but when iceman is the water in his body, does it matter?

Can Iceman use his power when he has been reduced to thousands of miniature versions of himself? Thats a base level technique. He can simply BFR of crush iceman afterwards. There's no reforming from Gildarts crash magic using your conventional elemental dispersion technique.

Iceman's body is pretty much irrelevant. Which is what I think you're not understanding. He makes clones of himself all the time, or various sized Icemen. I don't see why that would be any different.

If only that mattered against someone who can flash freeze you to basically absolute zero, rip the water out of your body, or exist as absolutely nothing except a consciousness.

He is going to literally rip the fluids out of her body. There's no attack for her to defend against.

Not a single person in Fairy Tail can do anything about Iceman. They simply can't.

Yes, if he avoids Gildarts.

Like...no. I feel like you just don't understand how Iceman works. There's literally nothing they can do to stop him.

Where's Superboy-Prime when you need him?

The multiverse isn't going to punch itself and fix everything.
