@lowlaville: Except they still have literally no way to beat him. And every single of them would have the X-Gene, so wouldn't he just have made like...a hundred Iceman's, all fully capable of using their power?
He's also never used his ability on anyone like Iceman as far as I'm aware of. There's not a whole lot supporting that Iceman wouldn't be able to reform -- since he's basically an ice elemental consciousness. He could more than likely just pull all of himself into a single body.
Uh yes, basically the same power, just weaker by the number of people. Yes they will be able to use their powers to full potential, but they are still weaker than the original. And when Gildarts used crash on Natsu, his consciousness also got sliced and diced up a thousand times. And it cant be combined using your conventional elemental ways as Ive said before. icemans in a lot of trouble here if he decides to go and make Gildarts his opponent.
Except there's no evidence that he can't forcibly bring himself back together, as no one Gildarts has ever used it on has had the control that Iceman does. Characters like Natsu are clearly not simply a floating consciousness like Iceman, they require physical form.
And if they're all able to use their power to their full potential, then you basically have 30 Iceman's running around ripping moisture out of everyone, flash freezing people to absolute zero, freezing their blood, spawning more ice clones. So...congrats I guess. Gildarts will be the sole reason his team loses.
