i may be in the minority here but really fail to see the problem in reading comic books in an ipad or any other tablet for that matter

Comics are an art form. They are meant to be enjoyed in print, not on some sterile computer screen. You can't bring a digital comic to a convention and have the artist/writer autograph it. Sales of digital comics are (often) cutting out the LCS/bookstores, costing them profit. When you buy a digital issue, you don't actually own it - your access to what you paid for is dependent on comixology's (or someone else's) server, where if I buy a real comic, I own that copy.

As I said earlier, I have no problems with digital if it's reigned in to what it should be - an archive. Same day as print needs to end. Digital first/exclusives need to end.

Can we quietly cancel this and get Tiny Titans back, or at least cancel it and replace it with Batman Family Adventures?

Either of those would be nice, or if they insist on the Superman angle, get rid of Superman, Supergirl, and Superboy, and put the rightful spotlight on Krypto.

So if I want to read this, I either have to buy the digital version or wait potentially months before the real comic is published... ><

I really wish we could go back to comics being print only. Digital is the worst thing that ever happened to the comics industry.

I believe that 'honor' belongs to Rob Liefeld. I don't think Digital is a wholly evil idea, but when it becomes competitive with print comics (i.e. releasing it early or exclusively for digital) THAT'S when I get mad.

I rip on Rob enough and give him all the "credit" he deserves, but digital has far more potential to damage the industry than he does.

I would have no issue with digital if:

Comics would not be available digitally until 6 months after appearing in print.

Either establish a $0.99 per issue price point or set up a Netflix-style monthly fee to read all you want.

If single issue pricing is maintained, then issues will be downloadable and DRM-free.

Under no circumstances would there be any digital exclusives or digital first titles.

Digital has its place as an archive, but the current model that competes with print has got to go.

@VaizD: It wouldn't have been a game changer. This would not have been Batman killing Nobody, but Bruce Wayne defending his son - very different in context.

Jack isn't the first Red Lantern from Earth - you're forgetting the best RL of all - Dex-Starr.

@G-Man: you're gonna fix that soon, right? :P

@sora_thekey: The red wig/red hair thing was a throwback to Yvonne Craig's Batgirl, who was a brunette that wore a red wig in costume. I think Barbara's bedroom was even set up like hers.
