I think it's meh. Her phrasing is out of character and I just think it's an issue that was dealt with in the first arc of her ongoing so why bother with it again?
I have to agree with everyone. Kyle & Yost. Liu doesn't know how to finish a plot and left too many new elements untouched. (That woman in the cloak, the idea of Logan adopting her, her kill list, etc.)
Kyle & Yost have you gripping your seat where with Liu, yes she vaguely developed her personality, but the plots itself were meh.
And It was way too OOC I think. I'm scared about her hooking up with one of the AA kids too. Ugh. Just ugh.
And talk about character abuse. Julian has been through way too much now, that was the only thing he had left. He didn't just lose Laura as a romantic interest, he lost his best friend.
And Gambit's comment? "Is he dead?" "No." "Too bad." Very, very poor taste.
Ugh, sorry. I could go on forever but I seriously have been crying over this since Wednesday.
At least... he was her real first kiss I guess. =\ You never forget that.
I am so happy, you don't even understand. I wonder if this was a planned thing all along or a "Damn, we messed up. There are people with pitchforks outside of Fraction's office this time. Get Bucky back and give him to Brubaker stat!" thing.
Again, I will raise the point of Cable reborn coming up in November? December? I forget. Yes, Domino had some good times with Wolverine but when it comes down to it... Who is she going to side with? Nate. And when Nate comes back to all this hubbub I think it's safe to say he'll go with Cyclops.
I can even show an example in Cable & Deadpool but I'm too lazy to cap it.
@millersoak: You know the thing with Pixie was ridiculous. I enjoyed Scottie Young during the New X-Men days because he drew the kids like kids.
Right before the Sisterhood arc, Fraction turned her into his little pet and she went from one of the youngest to apparently 18 and partying with Northstar (Who was a hard @ss when he taught at Xavier's) So for that I completely blame Matt Fraction's writing and Greg Land's tracing.
