If there is a guest account you can sign in, create a new admin user. Sign out of the guest and into the new admin, then erase the password on the other admin account. However this will erase all password protected data on that profile. (So it's like a reset on the computer). I don't really recommend doing it unless you are really really desperate to get in (and lose all your data).

That seems kind of dumb of him. Really though, if he cared that much he would have just read the book. It's actually surprising how long he went without knowing what happens in the 6th book.
