Gosh. Only two more issues. If it weren't for the awesomeness that is FF, I would have dropped this book long ago. But there are only two more issues and I am going to see Matt Fraction's story through, even if he didn't.

Every issue of this series is more epic than the last. One would be hard pressed to out-do the Thor moment from INFINITY #4, but the moment with Ronan the Accuser bludgeoning Black Dwarf's head was pretty damn close. Really, seeing the Galactic Council in action is a moment that we have been waiting the entire series to see and we didn't even know that we were waiting for it!

The Book of Magic arc was one of my favorites arcs in all of comics in recent years, so you could imagine how upset I was that Jeff Lemire was leaving the book. However, I planned to continue the book just because I truly believe that Mikel Janin is the #1 artist in the industry. But upon hearing about the Blight event, I don't see any reason to continue reading the book. It's a shame though, cause Mikel Janin makes some beautiful artwork.

My favorite thing that I have seen in a long while is the abridged explanation by Julius Caesar. I love how willing this book is to break the 4th wall but not be annoying about it like Deadpool. The best part is at the bottom of the third covered up panel, it say, "Things like this didn't happen when Matt was writing the book." Made me laugh so hard.

I agree that this issue was awesome. The battle between Thanos and Black Bolt was epic and Thor is, well, Thor is Thor. I have never been a big fan of the Inhumans, but this issue pretty much revealed what Inhumanity is going to be and I am actually intrigued. I am also enthralled with the mystery surrounding Thane.

However, if you haven't been reading New Avengers and especially Avengers, I don't see how the story told within the pages of Infinity would be coherent. Last issue of Infinity, the Avengers had pulled off a victory against the Builders but in this issue, they are negotiating surrender. Jonathan Hickman is a very dense writer and I know from jumping onto Fantastic Four at the beginning of Three, you can't be missing anything that he writes.

I find your complaints about Kate to be invalid because, 1. The past three issues of the main series haven't been told from Clints point of view but they have still been enjoyable narratives that advanced the plot forward and they received high scores here at Comic Vine. 2. This issue has been advertised as a story about Kate from the time it was solicited. 3. For the foreseeable future, Matt Fraction has announced that the series will rotate focus between Clint and Kate every other issue, so get used to it.
