Batman. Just look at all the Batman movies, cartoons, and video games we've gotten over the years. Until Superman get that type of treatment and pimping, it will probably stay that way.

Just giving you all a heads up, Marvel released the variant cover of New Avengers #1 yesterday. Since it wasn't accompanied with a proper reveal or info, it was probably done accidentally.

Since this is an Illuminati inspired team, I expect there to be a couple more characters not shown on the image above. Xavier and Namor's roster spots have to be filled obviously.

And don't be surprised If Marvel pulls a " LOL we got you! " move and brings him back to life at the end. It fits right into the whole death and rebirth aspect that is attached to the Phoenix in mythology.

None of this is surprising at all.

Ever since Marvel released that Fear Itself teaser with Cyclops wearing Magneto's costume, I knew he'd do something like this at some point. Marvel turning him militaristic over the years should have prepared you guys for a moment like this.

Professor X dying doesn't surprise me either. He hasn't been relevant in a while. Ever since Cyclops took over, he's been twiddling his thumbs on the side line while having sparse appearances here and there.

Brevoort hinted at a new title that is in the same vein as Young Avengers during the Baltimore Comic-Con. She might be in that.

The new teen book might be associated with the upcoming Point One story that focuses on Wiccan, Ms America, and Kid Loki.

I don't agree with this logic at all. Cartoons influenced me and made me fans of certain characters before I picked up the comics.

Characters are bigger than the comics these days. The movies doing as well as they do prove that point even more. Just accept it and move on.
