About Me

In 2009 a friend and I discussed Mythology. He staked the claim that American Mythology is actually our comic book characters. My interest in 2009 was instantly renewed. I had last read comics (Moon Knight) during 1984. Now, I search for characters with unique traits. In my opinion, the most interesting characters have a relatively unique invention or mysterious power as opposed to so many characters who possess superstrength. As an example, how rare is the Pied Piper character who resorts to altered musical instruments as his means of defeating his opponents? Unusual magic casting methods and unusual magic results are another of my fascinations with comic characters. But most importantly, I seek characters whose drives for vengeance seem questionable at times, but are ultimately dedicated to helping good people, supporting good causes, and influencing bad people into change for the betterment of society.
