If it's divine spawn Thor doesn't stand a chance. Spawn basically wills him dead and it happens.

If it's pre-divinity spawn then spawn doesn't stand a chance. Thor throws his hammer at spawn and spawn is annihilated, suit and all.

Iron Fist wouldn't know the fight was on before he slumped over dead from poisoned tea.

He's not in the battle according to the OP, and what the OP says, goes.

If we're to add brainiac to the mix I think it's only fair that we also include Professor X.

Professor X's intellect is nothing short of cheating.

One of the large differences between marvel and DC is the number of techie-heroes in Marvel. It seems that around every corner lurks some super genious that is ready to save the entire world with their magnificent tech.

Let me mention additional super-intelligent characters:

Marvel.

Black Panther, Hank Pym, Dr. Doom, Emma Frost, Sage, all The Cuckoos, Mr. Sinister, The High Evolutionary, Dr. Strange, Baron Zemo, Dr. Bruce Banner, Amadeus Cho, Stryfe, Cable; each one of these if not spoiled on combat could send earth into a new golden age. But noooooooooo. CABLE SMASH!

DC has Dr. Fate, Brainiac, Superman, Lex Luthor, Darkseid. Can't think of any more; but if you can please keep them at the level of the above.

And no eternal gods like the Highfather or The Tribunal. Both have those, and they're beyond intelligence so I don't think it's fair to count them in with the rest of the lot.

Let me pair up what I think are fair opponents for this task.

Batman vs Iron Man

I'm starting with the two power houses. Lets face it, for all his intelligence Bats have a latex costume. Iron Man is smart enough to be strong enough to fight pre-WWH Hulk on even terms. Bats would become a greasy stain.

Martian Manhunter vs Vision

Both are that silent contemplative type smart-guys. But again with the getup. Martian MH is wearing speedoes. Also, he seldom does anything really smart.

Oracle vs Mr.Fantastic

Both techies. But lets face it, Mr. Fantastic blows Oracle away on this one.

Blue Beetle vs Spider Man

I'm assuming we're not talking Jaime Reyes Beetle here, but the actual smart ones.

I'm giving this to the Beetle 'cause he actually got to his super spidey-like powers by actual research, plus buildt some cool gizmos and managed to become a wealtyh wealthy man.

The Atom vs Beast

Captain Atom, or?

Well, if it's Captain Atom I'd saythat he could take the Beast in a fight. But as for smarts. Captain Atom was a rocket scientist, and a good one at that.

The Beast is however a world leading scientist on almost every imaginable scientific field. His intellect is nothing less than super human.

Given these facts I'm giving the fight to marvel.

Both sides have ppl capable of undoing anything, anywhere, anytime.

If it's every character ever then Dark Phoenix wins alone. No force in the 'verse can stop her.

That being said, JLC have similar power houses.
